As I told yesterday, I'm sharing my Tasker profiles to have better battery life.
Tasker is a (paid) app which let you automate almost everything on your phone. More info:

Gps Manager
Linked profiles setting GPS On or Off according to running applications -
GPS Manager
Need_Gps_Apps.prf profile may be modified to select applications which need GPS
Gps_Manager.prf profile enables or disables the GPS
Data Manager
Linked profiles setting APN & Wifi & Sync On or Off according to running applications, period, network location, and wifi near-
Data Manager
Need_Data_Apps.prf profile may be modified to select applications which need GPS
Need_Data_Sync.prf profile may be modified to tune Sync daytime & period
Screen_Off.prf / Screen_Unlocked.prf profiles disable data while screen is off
Data_Manager.prf profile enables or disables APN Data connection, and starts Cell & Wifi Scan profiles
Hotspot_Area.prf profile may be modified to select cell area where wifi is reachable
Hotspot_Near.prf profile sets Wifi On automatically when an hostpot is near and connects to it
Wifi_Apn_toggle.prf profile will set APN Off if Wifi is connected, and vice-versa
Mean_Signal.prf profile will toggle between 2G/3G according to signal strenght (under development, may not work)
Airplane Mode Manager
Standalone profiles setting Airplane mode On or Off -
Airplane Mode Manager
Low_Signal.prf profile sets Airplane Mode for 5 minutes if Signal Strenght is low
Night_Plane_Mode.prf profile sets Silent Mode and Airplane Mode when phone is turned facedown during the night
Various
Standalone profiles doing various things -

SDCacheBoot.prf profile sets SDCard cache to 2MB once at boot, to increase sdcard performance.
Auto_Camera.prf profile opens Camera app when phone is hold up ready for shooting
Face_down_silencer.prf sets Silence Mode when phone is facing down, and revert when facing up (usefull in meetings)
Install
- Backup all your profiles: while in tasker, select the profile you want to save, then option/export/xmlin sd
- Download the profile you want and unzip the files in /sdcard/Tasker/profiles
- Reboot into Recovery Mode
- In Tasker press left Menu softkey, Profile Data/Import One Profile, select files
- Repeat for each unzipped files. All the files of a "linked profile" are needed. For standalone profile, you may import only profiles that interest you.
If you have a fresh tasker install with no profiles or don't mind if ALL yours are erased, you can install all my Tasker profiles at once. Download
rollus' backup and unzip files in /sdcard/Tasker. In Tasker press left Menu softkey, Profile Data/Restore.
