i have a droid dna

i have uploaded a few picks because i want to root this phone but iv tried everything i could find on google i found the moonshine method but i cant get it to work. plz help im on strsaighjt talk and i want to get the newest firmware and flash to venom red theme please help me.

Your Software/Firmware version is 2.06

Moonshine will work, it's how I got S-Off on my third DNA.
The first two I did the hard way.

Follow the instruction EXACTLY.

You will have to download the latest SDK tools and the correct drivers.
You must have ADB and Fastboot working.
Turn off your Firewall on your PC.
Uninstall HTC Sync.

This is all in the instructions. If you can't get it to work, maybe you shouldn't root your device.

It is will say getting updates then it will say error press enter to exit and read all directions again

If ADB and Fastboot both recognize device, then your drivers are okay.

Fastboot drivers are broken on Windows 8.1

Windows 8.0 and earlier work okay for me.

USB 2.0 port. Do not use a 3.0 port.

Did you unzip the archive before running distiller?

yes

i got the distiller to get to where it reboots my phone into fastbootmy phones does it but fastboot times out and it says u fix yes enter to exit

plus bt ur banner i want to flash the viper rom with sense 5 on the phone as well

im working a windows 7
and adb works but i cnt get fastboot to recognize the device

Did you disable lock screen. Enable adb. Turn off fast boot

disabled lock screen and fastboot but how to enable adb on the phone???

Turn phone off. Volume Down power on. Factory reset. Backup data first. Then run moo shine after Ur turn on and off everything I mentioned above.

i have it enabled i have all drivers correctly installed and i have htc sync completly removed. and i get this error

You have a usb connection error.. Do you recieve this error every time>>?? Are you using the OEM HTC Cable?

Yes but I'm using the stock cord I got I have a few others I could try if u think that will help

Do you have adb and fastboot installed correctly.
