After using my new nexus 4 I found if I place my phone screen down I will miss out on any notifications and if I put it screen up my music gets muffled. Being a Product Design GCSE Student I made a plastic stand out of 3 pieces of acrylic and it is quite well. I attached photos of it below, if anyone has access to a laser cutter and knows how to use it or know someone good at design and tec you will be able to make it within an hour. If you want my blueprints just pm me and I will pm you back with it.
