You will be fine with the new ICS kernels from source they are all safe.

I don't want to confuse you but just to be clear, this means the stock based TouchWiz ICS (like this one) and does not apply to CM or AOKP or AOSP type roms.

Ok...I assume AGAT's 0.4.4 is fine then as well to revert back to my NAND backup from? That's what I'm currently running.

Just a little info from yesterday and today we know bad signal = bad battery. What I noticed was with bad signal my phone ran at 1000 a lot more today (100-1000 my settings) about 30% more, yesterday good signal and was using mostly 500. 100. And deep sleep. Also I'm using agat 4.4 kernel.

So is there a way to get the stock ICS app switcher? It's been a while since I used this ROM and want to try this update.

Blazer v0.1.5 already has the stock app switcher but the new Sense app switcher is pretty cool. It's a mod though.

Hmm before the latest update it had the sense switcher and I couldn't find a way to go to the stock launcher. The new Rom is downloading super slow for me so I'll check it out thanks

My maps when giving driving navigation are accurate, but the voice directions are always inaccurate. When I initially flashed the rom it was accurate but then it went bad. Is there a way to fix?

awesome battery life

Just sharing my tremendous battery life - 33 hours with juice left over. This was my first full day after installing the ROM using the standard 1800mah battery. Very impressive!

Before loading this and the FG31 modem, I had CM9 and was getting 8 HOURS or so, with my phone cooking hot and occasional SOD's. No SOD's so far, and very happy I switched it out to Phantom's Blazer. :good:

There is absolutely NO WAY you got that much battery life out of the phone unless you BARELY used it or you have an aftermarket extended battery. I call BS unless you just left it sitting there fore 33hrs

Who cares? Battery life is relative.
Could your phone go a day and half? Well, mine could lleft idle I suppose but what matters is the coming from 8 and landing on 30+....

Not a month ago eeverybody was conplaining about bad battery...
Now its too good? Cmon...

(nice cycle, brah)

To add to this it also shows his phone slept well.. I'm more concerned about what's going on with my phone when it's sleeping VS the screen being on.. If extensive battery is being ate up while sleep something is definitely wrong with the set up

I am close to being a heavy user, and if I can get close to 7 hours, its been a great day for me. 33 hours, your phone is just collecting dust somewhere lol, but that just my dos centabos.

Yes, it was definitely light use, but it was the same general use as before with the same programs and same 1800 mah battery. It was a general apples to apples comparison with only ROM/modem swapped.

I posted only because it was amazing. What can I say? YMMV! A lot! How's that for a disclaimer?

Hacking screenshots or swapping batteries just to post on here sounds pretty stupid to me, but I guess I'm weird that way.

I went back to my NAND backup of StrongSteve's GB ROM yesterday after running Blazer's ICS for a few weeks. Just checked my phone and I've only lost 12% over the past 6h30m with light-to-moderate use. When I was on ICS, I'd probably be down at least 50% with the same usage over that time period.

I like ICS, but not enough to cut my battery life by 60%.

Error 921 and Error Purchasing in Playstore
FIX - Remove your google account in settings>accounts and syncing, restart phone, add Google account again and go back into Playstore and download.

How do I overclock with the stock kernel?
Download "Tegrak" from the market, amazing app.

Why is my battery life not as good as it could be after flashing?
You just flashed it will get a lot better, go calibrate your battery if your not satisfied :p.

Do I have to wipe fully if I am coming from a previous version of Blazer?
No, Wiping dalvik, and cache should be sufficient. If you get Force Closes wipe fully.

    Found a Bug?
    Report it here!

Can I flash a different kernel?
Yes, most Epic Touch 4G Kernels should work.
