I love this player but can't get it to work on non-SONY devices. Just tried your newest release on my RCA Viking Pro Android tablet (6.0) and it does install but will crash right after trying to run it. "Unfortunately Music has stopped" error... I can see the splash and the first pop-up where it asks for permissions and then it goes down. Any suggestions, @Ben Ling?

At first I couldn't install the latest version on ASUS Zenfone Live, with direct install (signed) or by moving it into system

But then I choose the stable version. Signed it with Zipsigner (I choose "platform" key/mode), moved it to system/app (create a "Music" folder and put it inside), changed the apk permission to R-W-R-R. Restart, and...voila! It works!

Thanks!

This version never had... I think you are looking for the one that need flashing and root or the magisk version.

With my OnePlus 3 and Havoc OS 2.1, I have noticed when I launch the player for the first time after reboot it crashes without any error message. When launched second time it works perfectly fine. Is it a bug due to the port?

No, just sign the apk file, (rename the output name extention to ".apk" If it shows ".zip") and install as normal apps
