there is already a xp image bootable on Winmo qemu:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=891844

Im not sure we tried it on android.

The Win98 image is much faster and much more useable.

The Problem is not to get the guest OS´s installed and configured but any Virtual machine software on mobile device is still on very early state.

I wouldn't hold your breath. There's been no development for ages. I've got my eyes on linux now which is the nearest OS you'll get running on a mobile device. Windows is pie in the sky. Probably won't happen for the next 5 years if that. Even when or if it does, my TG01 will have the equivalent specs as my 13 year old windows 98 PC. Unfortunately, there just aren't enough developers working on this, if with people willing to donate some cash, seems no one is interested.

you are right Tozzy2 but make something really working is almost impossible, that was warning quite good and were missing only som drivers and should be fully-fledged device

Jopo,

Yes, it's a shame that those drivers can't be found or modified to enable network connectivity. That's what is really lacking in the OS and making it merely a novelty phone app. I love win 95 because it's nostalgic and if ran flawlessly, would love to use it instead of android to be honest. Admittingly, it's old, outdated, slow, but love it because it reminds me of my childhood .

Next best thing for now for me is Archos 43 which has ability to boot to linux environment, but haven't got it yet.
