Yes. I just took a chance and installed the EK02_Modem.zip file from CWM over top of my Blazer ROM. Rebooted and now my baseband version is S: D710.10.S.EK02. I just flashed it a few minutes ago so I can't yet say whether it fixes LOS. 4G, 3G and voice calls all work after the update. 3G is just as slow as before (0.5Mbps). 4G is just as fast as before (8.05Mbps). Voice calls sound the same.
Not having a problem with wifi, try a reflash and data wipe

what should I Reflash? 'SPH-D710_update_EG30_to_EK02-rooted.zip' wouldn't this fail since I all ready ran the update successfully?
I think a lot of people are confused. There are three main components at play in the UPDATE.ZIP:
1) KERNEL
2) ROM
3) MODEM
They can all be flashed independently of each other.
The kernel can be flashed regardless of what ROM or MODEM you're running.
The ROM (update.zip) can only be flashed if you're on stock EG30 (ROM - NOT MODEM!!! You can also flash Calk's EK02 ROM over any ROM you're running) this is independent of both KERNEL and MODEM.
The MODEM can ONLY be flashed if you are on BASEBAND eg30. EG12 or EG31 WILL NOT Work.

Try flashing the ROM that Calk released (EK02) after running his format ALL zip.
Which update did you try? I flashed the modem and I am having no problems with WiFi, 4G, 3G or voice calls.
So anyway to use stock eg30 Odin to get back to eg30

Flashed modem through Clockwork Recovery and it worked just fine running Strongsteve's Odexed Un-themed. Wifi works, can't vouch for LOS yet as I literally just flashed a few minutes ago. Also, thank you to everyone involved in this, your work is truly appreciated. 
The only way to get back to EG30 is to get a ofgfical file from Sprint or Samsung.
If you can get that might as well ask for the EK02 verision also.
If you are only talking about ROM and Kernel, you should be able to use this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1282420. It would not include modem.
It was a possible theory, and could be wrong. In fact, I think Calkulin basically said "no, it's not".
EG12 sits in a partition where you would expect the modem file to be, but is apparently unused. The actual location of the modem file that IS being used is still unknown.
Edit - Somewhere in the back of my mind I picture a little Korean guy sitting in a Samsung lab going "hahaha this is going to totally **** with the Sprint guys over at XDA".
not just sprint but seems to be all samsung phones, the guys over at fascinaye forum have been trying to pull their modem also
I have this eg30 file I got from sprint. I don't know the exact name but it's exe file and it's the one where it tells you to pull the battery and hold a combination of buttons to get to download modem. Anyhow. I have that file and I ones viper to see if it would help you all. But he hasn't responded yet.
Just flash the Zip 'Calkulin's_Stock_Rooted_EK02_ROM_v1.0.zip' from Recovery, it solved the problem with WiFi for me anyway.

Thanks, once again, to kingsway8605!!36Just a note on some of the posts I am seeing in the thread:
(1) I haven't had the update long enough to say if it fixes the LoS for everyone, but since I received it yesterday I have not received an LoS when I used to get them all the time. Your mileage may vary. The screencap below shows what you should have if you install everything correctly.
(2) I am not a dev, I am just lucky. The great devs viper mentioned in his post spent a lot of time helping me get the update off of my phone. Methods of extracting the update.zip that worked with older phones did not work with this phone, which only complicated the process.
If you cannot install it, it is not our fault. You knew the risks when hacking your phone. I only received an OTA and the great devs were able to help me extract this OTA from my phone. At this point, it appears that even when the official OTA update is pushed to your phone, that it will still fail. The moden update only works on EG30 phones, period. Unless a dev can pull some amazing hackery or Samsung gives us a full tar, you are just going to have to wait. The kernel update should work just fine. If you are not EG30, I recommend Calk's EK02 ROM in another thread.
(3) As pointed out in (2), you hack your phone at your own risk. While this is an official OTA pushed to me by Sprint, it was pushed to ME by Sprint and not you. I have a person to call if this OTA screws up my future update path, but I have no idea how this will affect your future update path. INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.
(4) The update includes some very minor UI enhancements and minor bug fixes in addition to the LoS fix.9Nope, same exact update file, sorry guys, I tried... Stuck on EG31 with the rest of you9Just a dumb thought
I understand you cannot flash the modem if you don't have "30". Is it possible to just change the name of 31 to 30 and it would flash? I am sorry if that is a dumb idea. I am just a firefighter. Does it look for the name of the file or what is inside of it?8
*sigh* I knew he would eventually make his way in here. You're right, shabby deserves credit for helping dump the partitions and getting it re-rooted and I have fixed the OP. Sorry, I was very tired last night and I forgot to add his name. All fixed now.
Secondly, he wasn't the only one to get this done because there was plenty more work that happened after we dumped the partitions. He also had them dump the wrong partitions, however that wasnt his fault really because he didnt know the partition list for this phone but we got it corrected. Then it was a few hour ordeal going back to EG30, trying to pull the update, rooting, getting the .zip out of cache, etc. The people that helped with that were in the OP.
I don't need to justify to you what happened but just so everyone else know that what you're saying isn't true. Its a team effort, something you know nothing about since its all about YOU. Please don't get all butthurt that your pretty damn useless around here (except you're fantastic at being a troll, I'll give you that) and that you couldn't help out. Better luck next time, and oh yeah, how is that new ROM coming along?
