MIUI is upgrading to Android 4.0.4 today! I'll be working on converting my port to 4.0.4, but I probably won't have the build uploaded until tomorrow afternoon.

miui.us is where you go for all weekly change logs regarding MIUI v4 (also noted in the second post of this thread by Weblexa), as for the fascinate specific changes those are also listed on the second post of this thread listing what was fixed in each release.
the only thing that's going to suck about this weeks release is the fact that this build is going to require a FULL DATA WIPE ....

SMS isn't working in 2.4.6... I am working to find a fix and will not update the OP until this is resolved. Sorry guys.

lol... Sorry buddy. Still having a real hard time with getting SMS working. Can send SMS now, but can't receive SMS. Not sure why. I have some of the smartest MIUI.us devs helping me, so hopefully I'll have something soon.
Weblexa......just curious (and SIAP). MIUI backup used to have a nice feature that would backup and restore screen settings with apps already in folders etc. Noticed its not in there anymore. Any chance that can be done? Data wipes and restores were a breeze with that.
Again, thanks for all your work and it defintely isn't a deal breaker.....just missed that part is all.

Restoring homescreen icons, folders, etc isn't currently working in ICS, however, I do think its only a bug and that MIUI will fix it at some point in time. That being said, when I have time, I'll open up Backup.apk and see if I can figure out how to fix it, if MIUI doesn't beat me to it.
In regards to the SMS problem... I may have to wait until Friday to see if MIUI fixed the bug that is causing the SMS breakage. Unfortunately, we're not able to pinpoint the issue. Logcat doesn't produce any SMS errors, and everything in the code seems to be fine. We're still working on it, but I'm hoping its a bug that is specific to 2.4.6. (Not sure why, but out of all the MIUI.us ports that have been updated to 2.4.6 so far, the Fascinate port seems to be the only one with this issue.)
Hey WEB I was curious if you get a break from the MMS bug to look into the bigram tweak for AOKP. No rush and no worries. Thanks for your work... I'm thinking about trying this out again...

You gotta change the size of the video buffer to make it work look in my Aries common git commits for the fix. Then you guys can flash one of the big ram kernels I got unofficially floating around.

Hey Weblexa or anyone else that flashed 2.4.6, did you guys have to wipe data for a good flash or did y'all just wipe delvik and cache? Noticed when this version released due to the phone UI changing it was noted that it needed a data wipe coming from an older version.

First, I want to apologize for taking so long to get around to working on this. I had a some personal things I had to take care of over the last few weeks. I appreciate everyone's patience.
Ok, now that that's out of the way, I have decided to release this test build to anyone who wants to flash it to provide me feedback since so many of you showed interest in testing.
THIS ROM IS AN ALPHA BUILD OF MIUI v4.1 JELLY BEAN. I HAVE FLASHED THIS ONTO MY DEVICE AND CAN CONFIRM IT BOOTS. I CANNOT, HOWEVER, CONFIRM IF ANYTHING WORKS. THIS INCLUDES CALLS/DATA/SMS/MMS, ETC. YOU SHOULD ONLY FLASH THIS BUILD IF YOU UNDERSTAND THIS.
FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download MIUI v4.1 from above
2. Make a Nandroid of your current ROM
3. Download and Flash CM10 from here: http://enderszone.com/android/jb/cm-10-20120819-UNOFFICIAL-fascinatemtd.zip
4. Download ROM Manager from the Play Store and back it up to your SD Card (Optional)
5. Wipe Data & Cache
6. Flash CM10 and let it fully boot.
7. Boot to recovery, wipe data & cache and flash MIUI v4.1
8. Optionally install ROM Manager from SD Card.
A couple things I noticed when I flashed this:
1. Seems to be a little lag at first. Seemed to go away after 10 minutes or so.
2. Reboot Recovery option hot boots the device. adb doesn't boot to recovery either. Only way I've been able to get into recovery is by using ROM Manager.
Please do not post feedback or report bugs for this build in this thread. I don't want any confusion in the thread. Please shoot me a PM to provide feedback or report bugs instead. I would also appreciate confirmation of what works/what doesn't work by PM as well. When sending me bug reports, please specify which device you have (Fascinate, Mesmerize, or Showcase). Once this build is confirmed working, I will do the Mesmerize and Showcase ports.
Once we confirm that calls, data & SMS/MMS is working, this build will become official and the OP and roms.miui.us will be updated.
