I like this. Gps is perfect, sound is great, data speeds are terrific, mobile and wifi. I also flashed the Lee kernel and everything is smooth as can be. 1822mhz overclocking but I keep mine at 1200 unless I'm playing a game then I turn up to 1600. I did crank it up all the way and ran quadrant and hit 2642 which isn't to bad. I liked using coredroid but had Gps issues. It found the satellites but took ten minutes to lock. My only problem is cwm fades to black. I have read a couple threads but no success. I even flashed a older version of cwm and still no go. Anyone got any suggestions.

Use the one click eng s off tool from the dhd forums. I don't know why, but it works to get CWM working.

Hmm. Not sure what the deal is. It was working before I reinstated after messing up my install.

Not working for me either. Although the ROM seems great, and I will leave it be, this was the main reason I installed it. Hopefully it can be figured out. Thanks for the hard work and effort!
Just get "wireless tether" from the market. Works just as good, if not better, than the stock app.
When i search for wireless tether i get nothing
[that is to say "wireless tether" is not an option]
glad you like the rom as far as CWM fading to black, what version are you using? and have you tried to re-install it through rom manager? i have used both 2.5.1.3 and 3.0.0.6 with success, honestly i dont know what else to tell ya as im still a noob at android lol.
to everyone else....would anybody be interested in more of a custom rom, based from this stock AT&T rom? i like to flash the custom roms just like you guys do, but i also like for everything to work(ie. sound). if enough people are interested i will cook up a new rom with the 1.8gz kernel and whatever other things you guys think would be nice...im up for suggestions!
Anyone know which build.prop settings need to be changed/added/deleted to get "GSM only" to work? Got it working on my Aria on Gene Poole's Liberated ROM but heck if I can figure out how to get it working on my Inspire after hours of trying different values.
In case anyone is wondering why I'd want to do such a thing, it's because 3G sucks at my house (lucky if I have 1 bar & calls drop as I walk around) but I get full bars EDGE. I'd rather have slower data & consistent calls (or at least the option) but seems ATT is disabling the ability to force EDGE by default. (*#*#4636#*#* testing menu lets me pick GSM only but it stays on HSDPA even if that is selected & even after restart which is exactly what the stock Aria/Inspire ROM's do as do many cooked ones I've tried.) Plus on my Aria I got double the battery life on EDGE vs 3G so figured the same might be true on my Inspire.
Thx!
