The other post I made about broken links and malware, etc, was because that thread had to do with theming, a guide, how to do it, etc. I was disappointed that several links were either broke or lead to some ad page.

Here is a link for a LineageOS ROM for your tablet.
And here is one for Resurrection Remix ROM

You can search for more ROMs by looking here and here.
There are several versions of the Galaxy Tab S2 and they are all grouped into the same forum, so you'll have to scroll through those sub-forums and look for "T810" next to the ROM builds to find the ones that are compatible with yours.

Request: Specific Thread for Umidigi One / Umidigi One Pro
Hi -- there isn't a devoted thread for the One or the One Pro. (They are distinct devices from all the other Umis with very similar names -- they're calling it their 'compact flagship' and it's racking up sales, owing to the fact that virtually all FDD-LTE bands are unlocked --compatible with every carrier everywhere (and it has a headphone jack ... one of my fixations).
Can't find UPCs for these phones anywhere. Android settings list the respective models as the "One" and the "One Pro" -- no numbers. The build number on my particular device is Umidigi_One_Pro_V2.0_20180815.
For identification purposes, the Amazon USA ASIN for the One Pro is B07GT1YTY7. For the One, it is B07GSZCWY1.
I have found methods of rooting and unlocking the bootloader but I do not like to use non-XDA instructions. my impulse control is poor -- I'd have bricked many a device permanently, if not for XDA. And there is no advice for relocking the bootloader if the device needs to be serviced.
The Umi forum is dreadful -- little participation and less expertise. It makes the Mi forum look like XDA!
First impression, the One Pro seems like a great buy (but 5.9" display is narrower than average)
While I realize there aren't likely to be a ton of custom roms out there at this point (if any) I would be most grateful if someone here would provide a "home" thread for these two devices.
Many thanks in advance for your help now and in past years!

Generally device threads are created by people who own the device.
You want a dedicated thread for your device, create it yourself.
You can create a General Discussion thread in https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general
like Umidigi One Pro General Discussion
or [Help Thread][Umidigi One Pro] Ask Any Question, Noob Friendly like this
in https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help

You also can request a device tag in https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=1660354

Many thanks -- I didn't know if this was good form for non-developers! I will do both.
