I used the same nvflash (just boot and recovery changed) which I used when I flash cm9
I will try your method you say
If flash with a 3q/Malata nvflash it fails

i just want to make sure I am doing it right. (no links up front for downloading any more)

I have T2 with 3g.
I will use this new_nvflash (219MB zipped), copy ith the "android_fastboot_emmc_full_more.cfg" into the flash directory.
going nvflash mode with vol - key + power key and flash.

Do I need anything else?

No for t2 only t8 models

added 3g signal
now gapps include
better sound
better gps
folder include previous wifi and a new 3g mode

i find a way how to boot in apx mode without pressing buttons :

3.2 Running into APX
- Connect to PC (remember: in USB Slave mode and with Cable A-A)
- Run following command in terminal emulator
echo 1 >/proc/naz10_diag/force_recovery
- Tablet should reboot into APX
- If you've connected properly Windows should search another drivers
- Point them to /usbpcdriver

i think the apx command can be used without a computer from android terminal emulator

also you can use nvflash.exe for updating things(e.g. recovery,boot.img) without deleting all your data

It is the second time i don,t believe my developer and hack his rom
We believed that if we hack system or mimic other similar devicesr if we not include a hard ware will beat the beast (sod)
And even mine ilogs has errors for somehow we do not get sod for 2hours
but all the change i figure New drivers old drivers new boot old boot the sod is there and can not defeat it
I apologise but if not defeat SOD why to have rom with errors and we can not leave with a nidle to our pocket to reset
Mine dev skills are limited
But even whyberg tried all the known option and his logs without any error did not succed
Sometimes believe we know but no we do not
But still we try

So revert to his original and i will only post the files will need to activate 3g

I ve insert all kaosdroid from nexus7 to our device based to last whyberg work
All customization from omega to our device
The rom is great fast stable inverted with true tablet ui,v6 preinstaled with patced services for 1g ram
I have not ask yet omega if i can use his work and post but if someone want a copy just pm
All working like nexus 7
Camera widget
All widgets to lockkscreen
Custom color
Pie control
usb storage with ntfs support with otg helper apk
3g hdmi too working based whyberg work
Script for 1.2 oc perfomance
And lot other you will find


PS.. now all mount points are working at kaosdroid_smba9701v2

using the links you provided I can't manage to get the tablet to boot into the rom, I have access to the CWM and it seems that it is stuck at the boot image. Any ideas on what to do?

You must know your bct value before do this is 6291456


Download cfg file to your tablet
open cfg with text editor
I use root explorer
Open cfg and first partion is bct
Change bct from 314.... To your value 6291456
Save and paste to nvflash
Nv flash with new partion

    No need to mouth off like that, keep it down please. Before bugging the mods, have you looked at XDA's forum index? There isn't an "appropriated forum" for this, as the Malata Zpad tablets are just a very small slice of the big tablet pie.
    Because some Zpads are very similar (but not identical!) in hardware to the G Tablet, and some devs around here are working on ROMs for the G Tablet as well as for the Zpads, we Zpad users have been given shelter on this forum, until the mods decide (which may be never) to open up a seperate (sub)forum for us.

    Why is this in viewsonic g tablet forum???

    Why the hell is this in clearly the viewsonic G Tablet Forum if it cannot be used for G Tablet?

    Can the mods please move this to an appropriated forum, people are going to soft brick their G Tabs if this continues. :eek:

    Thanks geowolf1000 & all the others, this ROM is working very well! For the record & for any Googlers, I'm using a Malata Zpad T8 (Wifi only/512 MB RAM) with serial number starting with MCB, very rare at the time (I bought mine when I was in China, when I met the people who were operating ez-pad.net :) )

    I have just one small problem: how do I get the 'Menu' button to work? The other buttons (Back, Home, Volume+/-, Power of course) work fine, except for "Menu". When I push it, I hear a 'click' from Android, but nothing happens.
    geowolf1000, what do you mean by "SETTINGS/ SYSTEM /HARDWARE KEYS/ MENU ICONS ON FOR MENU OPTIONS"? I have no submenu or checkbox for "menu icons' in the "Hardware keys" menu.

    Anyways, nice work! Keep it up :)
