I can see busybox installed in /system/xbin

Upgraded kernal from 2.9.3 to 2.9.7, wiped cache data using TB and fixed permissions. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it..still getting the same error

Latest nightly solved the issue..

Afaik it needs to be also installed, symlinked to system/bin. Like I said install it...

@Stratosk

Could you look into changelog for upcoming nightly? http://10.1.cmxlog.com/?device=galaxysmtd

There ale a lot of commits for Samsung Kernel (submitted by Pawitp).

Will this changes include in your kernel too?

Actually, these are changes merged from Linux 3.0.55 - 3.0.60.

Already included in Semaphore since some versions ago (except from 3.0.60 - merged in the latest)

As far as I can read those logs, all the changes are related to up-ing the default CM kernel for SGS to 3.0.55+. We are at 3.0.60 already Guess most of that is already in Semaphore.

LE: too slow

Re: [KERNEL] Semaphore JB 2.9.8
Just had my first ever SOD.
I was on cm-10.1-20130123-NIGHTLY with Semaphore 2.9.8 (non 's') at the time.

Not over clocked and with standard voltages.
Other settings are:

Governor: SmartassV2
Scheduler: Simple I/O
WiFi PM FAST when suspend

The last thing I remember doing was telling CyanDelta to download cm-10.1-20130124-NIGHTLY.

One odd thing though... When CyanDelta installed 20130123 I noticed that the "Android is upgrading..." message only said it was Optimizing 90 apps instead of my normal 172.

I've just now installed CM10.1 20130124 (still using CyanDelta) and it's Optimizing 172 apps.
Does anyone know why this number can differ ? (Without me changing my number of installed apps that is...).

big changes of external light is subjective.
i think the change is big, i can't see anything, and it should be changed instantly.
but my phone thinks otherwise, and adjusts the brightness step-by-step over a pretty long period of time.

This is version 2.5.6 Aroma that does this, not the kernel.
