Battery life on 4.5 for VS980 is not as good as previous kernel version, even on deepsleep consumes 5%

I just flashed the 4.5.1 twice because I wasn't sure if I got the right one, because in the settings app it is still showing 4.5
Just wrong designated I guess

@dorimanx I don't know how or why but flashing 4.5.1 resolved the GPS issues I had with the Pardus Hd rom Classic 6.1 and 7.0 we discussed on the other thread. Now I get signal and fix in less than 15secs... Thanks a lot !!! (do you have LiteCoin or FeatherCoin for donations ?)

Well battery life for me on 4.5 is great thanks to the kernel. Left the phone idle overnight and after 8 hours, it stayed at 100%, but after that, battery drain is immense specially compared to JB but thats a ROM issue not kernel related. Also just tried nightmare, whoah, a whole different level of snapiness. recents section doesnt take as long, camera finally doesnt take forever to open and switch between the both and the phone app doesnt lag anymore.

@osmosizzz - I read that nightmare governor doen't sacrifice much battery life. Looking at your feedback about performance it would sound like a miracle to me; what is your opinion on performance VS battery compromise?

It really doesn't actually. Im not sure whats the trick behind it but from what I can see, it manages battery and performance very well. And to add to that, I let my CPU go all the way up to 2.8GHz when needed. So far so good. I like it! Right now, im at 90% with 10 H 37 minutes up time where 9H 22M was on deep sleep, 1H 15 minutes awake and 42 minutes screen on time which compromised on light facebook, instagram, google plus, xda and email.
