Did you install the correct Juopunutbear hboot?thats the issues adb commands are not working and i swore i had them working before... trying to install it again but no adb command is working right now
That's probably why you can't do adb commands. Do you know which firmware you're on?

This one is ics:

this is gb:

That's the jb hboot then. It should say Juopunutbear right at the top. I'd personally just run the ICS RUU, the latest one and then install Scott's latest ROM. The new ICS leak is really good.

Yeah I forgot about that. Did you run any RUU's since you got s-off?Yeah that is the jb ICS hboot. Were you on ICS firmware, or GB firmware. If you were on GB, then that is your problem. You were running CleanROM 4.3Pro which is ICS, but that doesn't mean you need ICS hboot. If you had to install the old firmware patch when you installed CleanROM Pro4.3, then you are on GB firmware. I'm guessing wrong hboot. Do you remember what your hboot version was prior to flashing the jb one?

NO! DON'T!!! All you need to do is install the GB hboot that I provided and you should be good.nope, imma try to go back to stock and then install latest scottrom see if that will work

All right. It would just be easier to try flashing the GB hboot =instead of running the stock RUU and losing all your data and then having to just flash the GB hboot again. Wouldn't really make much sense. No you have to rename it PH98IMG and then flash it in the bootloader. A bar on the right will go up and then it will prompt you to download or not. Hit Vol+ up to download and you should be good.ok will try that thanks

You have no idea. I was one of the beta testers for this s-off method and I had to do A LOT to prepare for the method. Needed to download linux, have ssh tunneling and a port open. It was a hell of a ride!thanks man hahaha this has been an adventure... i dont remember the droid incredible being this intense hahaha but i guess things have changed.. going to do it now *crosses fingers

Well it wouldn't hurt to use CWM instead and see if you get better results.
Yes you do. I would suggest running the latest ICS leak, it's really good. Just download it right hereok for future reference i got the gb hboot firmware???
should i upgrade that to ICS since im running CleanRom anyways...
also any suggestion of kernal, radio, rom to use
Good job!Finally got it working...
Here is what I did

Instructions said:Instructions
(Optional) Perform a full backup and replace your sdcard with one that you are willing to wipe.
Ensure that your battery is fully charged.
Choose the correct download for your device and operating system
Extract the zip file to a new directory
Verify the MD5 checksum for your download
Read and/or watch the video for the device specific information for your device
Run controlbear as admin(windows) or root or using sudo on linux
Follow the on-screen instructions from ControlBear
Do not press any of the buttons on the phone during the process.
After doing the “wire-trick” yor phone will reboot. The sequence of the reboot may vary somewhat from that you see in the videos as these were taken during various stages of development.
If you see the following message from ControlBear after doing the wire trick:
ErrorMsg: Still sober.
This means that you have been unsuccessful in implementing the wire-trick. Run ControlBear again.
The usual casue for this is that you failed to perform 2 clean contacts or mistimed the wire trick.
Your phone will reboot several times during the process, this is normal. ControlBear will tell you when it has finished whether sucessfully or not.
Wire Trick said:Wire Trick
The “wire trick” is an essential part of the JuopunutBear S-OFF procedure.
When instructed to do so by the program you must perform the “wire trick” which is done as follows.
Obtain an insulated wire of appropriate length and gauge
Insert one end of the wire into the hole where pin 1 is indicated in the picture below, ensuring that a firm contact it made with the metal contact at the bottom of the hole
Briefly touch to other end of the wire to the contact marked GND in the picture below.
Wait approximately 1.75 seconds and then again touch the wire to the marked GND.
Allow the program to continue.
Note: it may take several attempts of running the program in order to obtain the correct timing for the wire trick.
The contact points for the “wire trick” are shown in the picture below.
Fix for external SD is as follows:
- Install busybox
- adb shell busybox fdisk /dev/block/mmcblk1
- type o
- type w
- adb shell busybox fdisk /dev/block/mmcblk1
- type n
- select primary, then 1
- chose default sizes
- type w
- adb shell busybox mkfs.vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1
For those of you having problems with internal storage, my apologies. We accidentally included the GB hboot.
