Good to see the thread still going. I have been using this rom on my tab for years now.. Definitely one of the best roms for this old tab.

Hi,
I'm on Hermes release since it was out!!

I'm actually trying to replace it with a more recent version of Android, but it seems all ASOP Roms have some faults here and there (mostly 3G and GPS which I use a lot..).

Just to say this rom has been on my Tab since day 1.

If there was an XDA hall of fame for Roms, Overcome should definately be in the top 5.

I tried official cyanogen 11 and 9 on this tab both are slow , now i'm searching for something stable and fast , i have some hope in your comment by the way which version of the overcome Rom did you install

Hi ruznik,
you said your CM was slow...

I use the p1000 too and my one is fast, very fast.
Had you set the clock speed under Settings -> Performance -> Processor ???
The min value is 100MHz and the max is 1400MHz.
And when you use the 1400 value the tab is really fast.

Ok it is depending on the CM11 Roms, or better the dev who
published his work. So the question which rm you have used?

But in any case, the Overcome Rom was allways my numner one,
until i have used CM10.1 the first time....

Had overcome before too.
Now I'm using this one (based on cm11):

Works quite well and fast.
I can use 1200 MHz. Everything above is unstable on my tab (was the same with overclock in overcome)

How can you with a clean concence link people to a download that has viruses in it that will damage that persons tablet or pc when they download. you should be assamed of youself aswell as get a lifetime ban from xda.

you mean "psneutr"? it's an exploit used to achive root on your galaxy tab. it cannot damage your PC and it's not used to gain any damage at all.
