Kindle Fire HD and 2 First Aide Software - Noob (Simple) Version
SilentlyScreaming,
Our code is very similar to Tweezermod. The new version to be released Monday has a 90% success rate. We used several Kindles until we were able to perfect the solution. I really believe our new version will be rock solid when installing Hashcode's second Bootloader.
Thank you again for being part of our thread and giving us solid input and solutions.
I know that comment wasn't for me, but just to let you know, I used the Tweezermod Installer (apk "cordless" version) to install TWRP and freedom boot thingy on my KF2. See this thread. I should point out that it needs an old bootloader installed, not one of the newer Amazon updates, requires root access, and AFAIK isn't any less likely to soft-brick your KF2 than the other methods in use, but I had decided to try it out for convenience's sake.
