There is also Cm9.2 by erikcas and it's the best rom ever made for ace!

But it could be nice if some good developer as bieltv.3 could upgrade its kernel :p

Where can I find this 9.2 by erikcas? I searched everywhere and can't find it :(

just installed latest nightly build (which is from October 2013 if I'm correct?) and it's very very laggy, impossible to use... any tips on making it faster, like installing a cpu governor? I've never done that and don't know if it would help...

or are there faster cm9 or cm10 ROMs out there? the cm 9 thread says the camera is not working, so that's a turn off...

    CyanogenMod 10.1 for Galaxy Ace

    This is official continuation of Wayland_Ace work, so that's official CM10.1 for galaxy ace on androidarmv6 organization. This project is made with erikcas and Wayland_Ace permissions, big thanks to them.

    CyanogenMod 10.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    FAQ

    There are some apps that were on RC2 and they are no longuer avaible?

    From now on CM-10.1 roms will have all extra (optional) apps not installed by default. They are present in the zip you downloaded but no in the directory that is installed.

    So how to install the extra apps / ringtones and so on?

    Follow this procedure:
    • Open the downloaded zip on your pc.
    • Copy or move the apps you want to have installed from extra/dir to system/dir
    • Save / update the zipfile
    • Now copy the zip to your sd card and install
    .

    is OP still working on this rom, can we expect any updates? I get the occasional crash and the phone restarts, but other than that it runs pretty well.

    Yep Im working, Im a bit bussy with some other not dev work, but I preefer releasing less updates and with more new features than release one each week, but I think an update should be soon (I dont know when)

    Thanks
