Ok, to answer your question, I will explain the differences between my IRS and others' IRS.
Before that, yes 32bit WAV is the best. and Yes, BSD's IRS is that good.

Some head-ups, I'm not trying to persuade anyone to buy my IRS, or proving anyone wrong, I'm just explaining my work.

1. Its not about the quality I'm making it paid. Its the effort I put in. We (me and ViPER520) decided to make paid IRS for several reasons we explained in one of our recent posts. Let's not talk about that...

I chose to degrade the quality (to 128K MP3) so as to differentiate between paid and free IRS. From the comparison table, there're a lot things that can be different, but I think quality will be fine. So it doesn't make the free version too lousy. ViPER520 told me that I'm making the free versions too good, haha.

2. IRS effect/type/method
This is more advanced than what I'm going to say next. Most IRS out there are VST effects. These effects were collected by experts and make available to public to use in VST software and audio editing software, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure how different authors make into IRS but the process is basically "applying".

For my IRS, effects are recorded from devices. Which means I need the real device with me to record the sound effect. My way is basically "recording".

3. Research, experiments
Well, I'm not sure with other authors but I research on IRS making by experimenting and finding ways to improve and getting closer effects. I did not study audio editing or digital signal processing. I'm learning by testing myself and search for information which is helpful in IRS making. So, compare now with the day I started making IRS, I'm definitely more experience and familiar with recording effects into IRS. Thanks to ViPER520 who always guiding me especially when I started getting know IRS.

The main difference is the techniques involve in my IRS making and processing, some general ones and a lot secret ones I found myself. That is why I named is Z-Edition because I do it my way.

I think that's the major differences. Peace.

Whatever others say, Zhuhang's IRS users know about the quality of IRS he makes. If anyone wants it for free, there is the free version of his IRS which is the best in every aspects. If anyone wants to thank him for his hard work and dedication towards making our phones sound better than before, then they can buy the Z-editions. He absolutely deserves to be paid for the time he gives for making our phones sound better. And the reason you asked in your question may be because he is Zhuhang and not BSD. No offence intended as it is an honest answer.

Let's not rehash things that ZhuHang has already dealt with.

Paid apps are allowed on xda if there is also a free version available to xda members. There is a guide explaining the policy here. Please remember that purchasing an app is a good way to support and motivate a developer, as well as, getting added functionality for your device. If you don't want to purchase the paid or pro version, well that is up to you.

All I can say is I love the paid versions I received. The quality is excellent and the only one I can't speak on is the Apple IRS. Big props to Zhuhang also for very speedy delivery and quick communication.

Now there is a problem. I can't decide which ones I like best as I keep switching back and forth!

Try Sony Xperia clear audio+ with purebass+ 60 hz and 10 db ,Xhifi clarity 3.5 db and Acoustic equalizer. Maybe you will like it.

Z-Vol means the IRS have very close loudness at the correct level to give best effect experience. Right now it is still in learning phase and I hope to get feedbacks from users.

Today, all Z-Edition IRS had been updated with Z-Vol. Buyers should receive a new email regarding the update.

Just tried the HTC beats v2 , clear + audio v2 ,and clearbass v2. Both the HTC beats and clear bass seem to actually have a cleaner sound in the bass. volume seems about the same on my end but the clear + audio seems not to make a difference when I change between V1 and V2. They all are still superior to any IRS I have used good work ZhuHang

That's because there is no difference in ClearAudio+.

With the release of v2, many IRS have been modified, but some were left the same.

@zhuhang, I'm absolutely thrilled with the new version of Clear bass MAX. It fixes everything I originally disliked about the v1 Clear bass MAX, and I no longer need to crank the volume to max (or near) to listen comfortably. Excellent work.

I checked all IRS and made necessary changes. Adjustment only done on some IRS.
