I dont know but, but this happen in the last week, because the last week I installed the hyperdrive RSL15 rom... I dont say this rom do this, but its strange.... when I finalized on install the rom, showme this :

Flashing Kernel
File_getprop:Failed to stat"/tmp/aroma/kernel.prop"no such file or directory

and if I reinstall this rom its the same, showme something wrong,.... I try to install another different rom, but its the same, no one pc or laptop recognized my cell .....:crying::crying::crying::crying:

thats its my problem right now !!!

Thats a updater script error.....wont affect your phone

I have been testing my mods all morning......most i have to revamp or find the right files. They have crap all over the place

Have you tried using a different USB cable? I know some cables can affect things like that. Try using another Samsung OEM USB cable. If you don't have one, invest in buying one. I remember I had a problem with my old Epic 4G not being recognized by the computer or Odin and using a different USB cable was the cure.

yes I try right now another usb cable.....its generic cable but not,.... its the same... however today I consider to buy another OEM samsung cable... maybe that its the solution......

You do not need to buy a samsung branded cable. Does the device show up under device manager at all?

Yeah buy an OEM cable and try it. Sometimes the littlest things can cause lots of problems.

I have been flashing ROMs on my PHONE/PDAs for almost 10 years now. I can agree that Samsung cables work very well, but it is because these cables are built with QUALITY in mind. The same could be said for the cables that come from Harmony remotes, and the one that came with my RAZER mouse. I have used ALL of the above to successfully flash my phone when a crappy one did not do the trick.

TLDR: Doesn't have to be a Samsung one, just has to be a not-total-garbage one.

Yeah agreed. But since the dude said it was a "generic" USB cable, you don't know WHERE it could've came from. Plus him buying an OEM Samsung cable will last him a long time so investing in one isn't a bad idea.

You can always use the "[root] Mobile ODIN Pro" app directly from your mobile...

but I have an OEM Samsung usb cable... and two more generic ... this all 3 cable if I conect its the same... in my cell showme : conected like installer.....and on my pc ... USB device not recognzied
