[Theme] minus/iminus for CM 4.2.12.3/Dwang v1.17.1 [01-17]

Theme Images​

Well since I got a nexus one, I am not really going to work on any more image edits for this theme unless something major comes along that I feel I need to change. In short, here are the images that I use for this theme, organized by .apk. They are pretty much ready to made into a metamorph for anyone that wants to take 10 minutes or so to do it. I have them organized this way so that it is an easy drag and drop to port to new cyanogen ROMs.

Step 1
Download MetaMorph and AndExplorer from the Market.

Step 2
Download the MetaMorph file of your choice and place it on your sdcard. I have a folder on my sdcard called "morphs" where I place all of my metamorph files.

Step 3
Open the MetaMorph app, select always allow, then press allow. Select Pick theme. Go to the folder where you put your metamorph files and select the one you want to apply.

Step 4
If you want to apply the full theme, select apply all. MetaMorph will then begin to run through the process of applying the images to your .apk's. This will take a while since there are a lot of .apk's skinned with MetaMorph.

Step 5
Once MetaMorph has gone through the process of applying the theme, You are done. Unless you applied a morph which has framework-res.apk in it, then you will have to reboot your phone, then you are done.

NOTES
If you have the 1660 or above market (see below to determine if you have it or not), then you will need to push/cp the com.android.vending.apk to /data/app/ to get the market back once it is themed by MetaMorph.

Also, if you have the 1660 or above market, then you do not need to use metamorph for framework-res.apk (unless this has been changed).

If you do want one of the color morphs from the bottom and you have the previously mentioned market version or higher, the leave a reply telling me the following:

ROM: ex. CM 4.2.9.1
Version of Theme: ex. iminus
Extras: ex. Advanced Launcher, Stericson's Lockscreen. Put none if you don't have any.
Color: ex. teal.

I will handle these request as they appear in the thread and when I am able to.

MetaMorph file for wallpapers. For people like me who hate how long it takes to set a wallpaper from the gallery, or wherever you set your wallpapers from. I didn't make these wallpapers either, there are a few in here that I edited or resized, but I still did not make them and do not try and take any credit for making them.

Connect USB and copy any of these .zip folders into the folder on the root of your S.D called prettyweather-googlecode-com then use the app and install the skin from your S.D and it will re-fresh and the new skin is set.

Market Problems​

If you have the 1660 or above shown in the image above (found in settings- applications- market) then you will need to either
or place on the root of your sdcard and in terminal emulator

If pushing/cp-ing the .apk to /data/app/ does not fix your problem, or if you do not want to push/cp the .apk, then press uninstall update, and go back to MetaMorph and re-apply the Vending.apk.

Meta Morphs for Colors​

unzip this and place the .zips inside on your sdcard (preferably in a folder so they will not be picked up in the recovery flash any .zip)

the colors are for colors.

If you already know how to use metamorph then you know what else to do, but if you don't then read this. Metamorph is amazingly simple to use. If you can't get it working, either reply here or pm me.

I received a request from bleedtheskyjd to make a modification of the older stock launcher tab, and I made it for him, and well I like it too, so here it is for anybody else that wants it.

ummmm... i really suck at photoshop, so ummm i don't know how much i can do for the gloss. it doesn't look as flat on the phone, ddms doesn't take the greatest screenshots. its really obvious in the music one.

i will try to add htc music in the next one. really will just need a tester or 2 for it. (since i don't use it)

yeah i know about the draw wallpaper. i need to look at it some more. (brandenk has a sick one i will probably throw in there.)


I will try to make a few versions with extras (lockscreen, adv launcher, htc music) or maybe just separate updates for each thing so the end user can pick and choose which things he/she wants (will also save on uploading time)

thank you for your comments. i will try to figure out some gloss for the status bar (or point me in the direction of a theme that has a status bar you like and i will incorporate it or at least make an update for it)

Added Some Goodies!

So I can take a hint lol. I added the advanced launcher (skinned of course), HTC Music (skinned with Clear widget from Beagz thread) Stericson's Lockscreen (from armyranger251's Dark Hero, I only changed a few icons for now), and Loccy's Better Browser (again skinned).

I also added into the lockscreen update the status bar from AreoBlack (is that kind of what you are talking about citizen-erased, that's a great name).

The lockscreen and htc music you just flash as individual packages and they will work their magic. remove music widget and app from homescreen before flashing.

also it does look good with a colorful background (thanks again for that idea) i will make some more packages tomorrow for the launcher tab to something easier to see against a colored background. will make a flash package for regular launcher and another download for the advanced launcher

also i will make an icon flash package so that you can have the option to use stock icons instead of the grayed out ones.

Look for these things either tomorrow or sunday (at least one will be done tomorrow)

also will you guys let me know when there is an update for the advanced launcher seeing as i do not use it, so that i may update it.


screw it i went ahead and made the icon pack flash package. massive thanks to xidomincanoix for his icon extractor script. -hearsts (in a non-homo way)-

went ahead and did alt. launcher and adv. launcher. forgot the app background for the drawer will fix tomorrow.

added some more goodies to the first post. soon enough i am going to have to make an additional post to hold all of the extras (i am already at the max number of pictures) since i imagine i will hit the text confines soon enough. oh well.

lets all give a big round of applause to my beta-b#@%h gridlock32404 for helping me test this out last night.

i have a core update, then stericsons lockscreen, a small framework update for the lockscreen, and the advanced launcher up for 4.1.11.1.

Now watch 4.2 drop 5 minutes later

i now see why all the AL people don't show there location, we don't wanna get laughed at lol.

updated the battery on the lockscreen (also if you look really closely you will see a new battery in the notification bar)
