I wouldn't touch anything that jdkoreclipse had any involvement in. Any of you original HTC Incredible guys know exactly what I'm talking about..... Just saying....

Verizon Galaxy SIII
Stock Factory Rooted ROM
No Custom Recovery....Yet

Wow thats pretty dismissive of someone you obviously havent kept tabs with/on....He has since worked on the HTC mecha, rezound, galaxy nexus and nexus 7 all with great praise. Its very cool that your open minded to the notion that people have the ability to learn and grow...:victory: Now in all seriousness I have to say with utmost honesty that jdk has not only grown an INSANE AMOUNT in the last year or two but hes also starting to supersede some people who once spat on his shoes and had attitudes like you do. Howabout instead of judging a software by one of the involved devs, you actually flash it and let the code speak for itself. Our rom source doesn't compile for the most part if its full of gaping errors...By the way, JDK has 0 commits in any d2vzw specific repositories or even the frameworks' base, so by all technicality (especially since his main focus lately has been the navbar, something which most users here on d2vzw wont even notice...) You really dont have much to 'worry about.' Whatever, it just blows my mind how some people think some times. Cheers to an awesome phone and an even awesomer ROM :D

Well said.

People do change for the better sometimes. I have seen nothing but props and great work put by JDK recently (especially on JB). No need for spamming a thread as this ROM is running great for me.

It is geolocation fixed?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app

Technically geolocation is not broken as you are able to achieve an accurate location with google maps, for some reason the rom does not wish to report this data to any apps other than maps and navigation though so we are looking into what might be causing this...One of the stranger bugs i ever have seen...

So is this a AOKP rom with it's own kernel?
No this is a rom built from CM source with a Liquid drip on it. Key letter in AOKP is the "K" which stands for kang. They pick and choose features to add in their rom from my understanding.

I'm really curious how to fix this Google Search issue. Anybody have thoughts on that by chance?

three different roms CM!0, AOKP, LiquidSmoth, but the base of AOKP and LS is CM, this on my poor knowledge

it look like is a problem on the personalized Gapps for this rom, thats the reason why they remove them for the mean time that they found the issue

Technically we are a hybrid of pure aosp and CM repos. Im not quite sure what the % of the mixture is, but we dont simply base everything off of CM. It would make our lives a lot easier if we did. We most certainly get the majority of our mods and hardware support from CM...I hope this helps users get a better idea of what this rom is comprised of..

I've been reading through the thread and am trying to determine if this ROM has the potential to affect my IMEI like cm10.

I'd like to try it but wanted to ask before I flash so I can take the necessary steps to back things up.

Most likely yes! The op posted his work in the wrong forum. It should be in original development with all other aosp and non touchwiz roms

Don't get me wrong. Much thanks to the other devs for their hard work and time put into this ROM. I would actually give it a chance knowing that jdkoreclipse had no commits included.

But..... I refuse to give jdkoreclipse another chance. He was given chances by myself and the rest of the Android community, where he time and time again stole, or attempted to steal, hard work of other devs. He would make puppet accounts where he continued to steal the work of others and get caught. In my book that is unforgivable. He made up this whole fantasy world where he was this mature adult developer with a job, girlfriend problems, etc. The FACT of the matter is, he was a 12 YEAR OLD CHILD (no bull****,) wannabe developer who had never contributed any of his own actual work (unless you want to count rebranding the hard work of others to pass off as his own). This was only 2.5 years ago, and apparently no one remembers. People don't change. I'm sure he is the same pathological liar as before, only now he's 15 years old.

Again. I will repeat. I value the work of all "actual" devs including those who have created this ROM, which btw does look awesome. They have skills that I do not have and probably will never have the time to learn. Thanks for your hard work.

I appreciate the rundown on something that happened, by your account 3 years ago...and i by no means deny any allogations of what JDK has done in the past, that said its totally irrelevant to the work that he, and we do now. If you wish to bash JDK further id hope you take it to another thread as we like our threads friendly and fun :D

Not sure, I just downloaded RC4 by using a short link expander and changing the file name.

Thats cool but we would appreciate it if we managed the distribution of our software. I hope you understand. We put a lot of blood sweat, tears and dedication into this so we can be pretty picky about how our work is presented. If you got a leaked link and youe getting bugs or crashes its because were still fine tuning the ROM for release. It becomes disheartening to come on the forums and see our work get distributed this way but on the other hand there's really no way to stop it. As the result of leaks though I will henceforth be implementing a new level of security that should help us regain some control over the distribution of our releases...
