supposing it is true , this probably still isn't the final froyo release considering the fact that kies has to be put in testmode . AFAIK you get experimental releases when you put kies in test mode .?

save a regfile in notepad paste that in blala.reg

connect kies.
run reg file.
run firmware upgrade

i did set my kies to testmode

did really someone expect samsung to deliver it right this time?

again rushed to market so samsung can say: yeah the sgs has 2.2


guess it's better then 2.1 but far from what it could have been...

Anyone tried it and yesterdays jp2 to compare? Cos yesterdays jp2 is very stable and pretty quick too, not sure I want to go through installing again...

every time i download a firmware with kies it errors when it starts to decrypt.

No it doesn't, but after first try with kies, nothing worked and I needed some attempts to flash to JM5 with odin and repartition. After that, the kies update worked.

That's true - Kies allows me to upgrade to JPC using this method. nice find.
