Thanks for feedback :good:

Is it the phone thats crashing and doesnt say dialer in the error?

Can you try this phone.apk First and see if it works : HERE

Just copy and replace over your own in system/app drawer with root explorer and reboot phone

If that doesnt work Try these 3 x Phone.apks and let me know which works for you : HERE

Let me know as soon as you can so i can help other users

do i have to change the permissions of the said apk's as the original apk's are rw-r-r

so these are the steps i took, hope this helps.
1) was on the pauldiddy's theme.
2) went to cwn and applied your theme on top of pauldiddy's theme without wiping cache or dalvik cache.
3) tried to make a call but the phone process force stopped.
4) tried changing the apk with the 1st link provided. the error continued with signal strength showing nil.( had changed the permissions of the apk to rw-r-r)
5) did the above steps with all 3 apks in the 2nd link but it was the same. as i tried to make a call , the screen would suddenly go blank followed by the error message.
pls do tell me if i have done anything wrong.

No the First apk I gave you should work

*CWM is currently been worked on as the new update has been made to the Full Wipe*

Just copy and overwrite the apk in system/app folder

Will pop up a Force close just Power off Phone.. and reboot

May loose a signal for a few moments but will come back up

Hope this helps if not can you try this

Download this : HERE
And Run it

Install the Phone.apk the first one HERE
When the FC error appears just close it then open the catlog to see what the error is then tell me please or post picture

How did you flash Rom?
Gallery works with no issues... Copy over any of these 2 files and tell me which works for you..
1 File : 2 File > with Root Explorer fix permissions and reboot Phone and see if it helps
or Use Quick Pic from market to see if its a gallery error...

Added > This is STOCK Gallery File.. If none of the above work try this...

As you can see in the above picture, the modem is ZSJPG but below there are Links for Modems to use if you wish to change
I stay in the UK and my carrier is Orange and this, in my opinion is the best modem to use :D ..... or even BUJP5
The above is the Honeycomb Lockscreen

Here are the Modems if you need, just flash in Recovery with CWM

Adaway (remove banners/logos from apps)
FasterFix (GPS Fix)
Smart Keyboard Pro (better keyboard)
Power Schedule Basic (Put phone to sleep and more ..)
Advanced Task Manager (Set to : Kill apps 10 seconds after screen goes off)
3 Emails which are synced every hour

Battery is amazing with JW9 along with fast Wifi Connect and GPS Lock

is there a walk through for this rom for a newbie as i'd like to try it as it looks cool but i am not that savvy with some things but can follow a guide as i have done it before. ;) i have-
model number GT- I9000
firmware version 2.3.3
baseband version I9000DDJV5
kernel version 2.6.35.7-I9000DDJV9-CL312456 root@SE-S605 #2
Build number Gingerbread.DDJV9

Are there any issues with battery life ? as i had problems when on xbean 3.0 so i went back and no issues after going back to 2.3.3 above.

Just like to say that i have the new rom JWB GB installed on my phone and it is awesome !! The battery life is really good and the developer EwOkie is really helpful if you have any issues ,especially a newb like me that has only recently got into rooting and flashing.Thanks once again EwOkie for all your help !! :good:

    Just Install as Stock Theme, if you have any problems let me know ;)

    If you have issues with Phone.apk Force Closing then install this one HERE and let me know if it fixes the issue on most phones.
    If it doesnt then please install this one which is stock phone.apk for the time being : Phone.apk

    Just Copy and replace File with Root Explorer and Reboot Phone :D

    IMPROVE BATTERY AFTER FLASHING

    · Turn phone off and charge till full
    · Start recovery and wipe battery stats
    · Reboot and start the phone
    · Use it heavily until it turns of by itself
    · Connect charger and turn on the phone and wait until fully charged
