So is a kernel that we need ???? People in the 9505 forums fix this problem by flashing the new baseband which of course they have and we probably never will lol

Tmo will get the update in the next 6 weeks is my guess.

You can try to flash the i9505 modem. You gotta do it with mobile Odin tho. I had flashed their 4.3 modems when it first leaked to see if it'd fix the data drop issue, which it gave me no service at all and had to reflwsh tmos. So you could try i9505 fix for S&Gs

Flashing their modem deff won't work on our phones...... And we deff won't get this update nowhere near 6 weeks..... The international version hasn't even gotten their official update yet this is a leaked version...... And they get their updates couple months before we get ours..... Not 2 bring bad news but Tmobile will deff not push this update anywhere near 6 weeks from now

I meant from when they release i9505s which is supposed to be this month.

I9505 got there's in October , we're talking officially here, we got ours in November. We would of gotten it even sooner then that but other carriers had issues and they stalled all updates.

Anyway, this is derailing what this thread is. Just a suggestion because it is possible to flash their modems.

Danny! You actually got it working!! Hooray!!!

Does the build.prop tweak mentioned back in the Q&A Section not fix WiFi?

    Couple points to make over what was just deleted from this thread.

    1 - Do not forget that you all are members here, and with membership, you do not have the right to discuss things direspectfully, nor is this a free speech site. Which leads to #2

    2 - Discussion of banned members, and their work, to include screenshots of sai members and or work, is not allowed. Don't like that? Too bad, those are the rules.

    3 - Posting of other peoples roms and or works in threads is not cool, not is it classy or resepectful.

    4 - Continuing a conversation after XDA staff ahs warned users to stop is also not cool, I have cleaned up this thread, but will be visiting it routinely now, glad to meet you all.​

    Cause the WiFi drivers are not loading, the same reason WiFi dont work
    USB tethering does work...

    and Thanks for posting this - it made me test WiFi hotspot w/ my kernel - and it failed.. gonna find out why

    missed this one
    its a i9505g kernel with a custom defconfig file
    95% of the changes were in defconfig
    4% in ramdisk
    (when compared to the i9505g "magical unicorn" kernel i released)

    then 1% - a few small changes to the rom itself (few XML and config files)
    all flashable - so no decompiling jar files or anything
