Can This Work On GALAXY ACE S5830 As Theirs Not Much Difference Between Ace And Optimus P500
No, not the easy way.

On one hand you have to add the missing drivers.
Thats the easier part of the job.

And the more complicated part is to find all those necessary changes done by the vendor and reimplement them / port them to the new kernel source.
Fixing also those things that are not working and the problems is also diffrent.

To get a clean source which I would suggest to take the caf kernel source and add the drivers, ...

I was wondering.
Do you remember cavemen's multitouch fix from GB?
Is it implemented in 3.0.8 kernel?

Its long time ago, so I can't remember.
But you could check the sources. It should be easy to see if its included.

Excuse me, but I flashed this new kernel in my p500 and in cm10.1.5 got some bugs, like a thin stripe of the botom of the screen goes to the top. So anybody can give the source of a suitable kernel for cm10.1.5? I also want to test the cm10.1.5 with kitkat experiencie so I need the old kernel back. The problem is that I don't remember the name and the version. Glad if someone helps me.

Every ROM has its kernel in it. So just install the ROM and that's it :D

If no one has noticed yet, I've done the 3.4 branch on our kernel. I'm building it right now and if it works I'll make a new development topic. And this is gonna take a longer time that a few weeks probably.
    23
Hardware composer is fixed again. It boots.

Now vSync is another story.... It times out waiting for the hardware signals so it fakes a vSync event...
And that refreshes at like 1 frame a minute... No joke.

Also, I'm gonna add the SmartAssH3 governor tonight.
    23
Working on full vSync now. Wish me luck. Tomorrow I'll try to rewrite the Wi-Fi driver to be like the BCM4329 one in the CAF source. That one doesn't battery hog like this crappy LG one.
