I deleted goo manager, because the app always told me that I should update my gapps (which I already had, obviously) and this got on my nerves. Otherwise no clue tbh.

lol, i just got home and looked at pa common config file and there are 4 lines starting with ro.goo and also those line are in build.prop. sometimes Im not on top of my game

Your rom is the best Paranoid so far and I tested them all. The only one that shows more than 3 satellites, mtp works better, latest cm10 changes, build from source etc. Congrats.

In other cm10 based roms there are other lines in build.prop about dalvik (256mb heap instead of 128 plus some others at the end) and other tweeks like a longer wifi seek policy to save battery. Maybe you could take a look to improve it even more.

About the name... PA Utacka 2.1 is too obvious?

I can look into it for future builds, gonna have to do a bit of reading first and try settings for myself. No promises.

In build prop you can change wifi.supplicant_scan_interval to 180 (a common duration). It changes the interval the phone searches for wifi networks.

I keep losing root after a couple reboots. I follow the suggestions in previous pages, but still no root. I'll probably try again next build - love this ROM. Back to PA 0.5 with me.

Great ROM only problem I seem to have is battery drain!!!

I'm running the as it came (as in Kernel) I came from notecore 7.2 and did full wipe followed by install of ROM and gapps and then wiped cache and delvick....

Anyone have any ideas???

Try flash again. Make sure all 3 wipes. I got not prob on my data & wifi connection..

Yes, working fine. Check your APN settings. Maybe there is something wrong, lost or broken? What baseband are you using?

Get better battery stats from the market or free on xda.
If it is media scanner -> Try RESCAN MEDIA ROOT from play store.

Otherwise change kernel, hydracore seems to be an option. But download superSU cwm zip in the meantime, just in case you lost root while flashing hydracore kernel.

What shall I do now with this information?
Are your APN settings okay? Did you check it?
What was the installation process? From which ROM did you come?
C'mon, I only can tell that it is working fine here and nobody else complains about missing mobile data connection.
Alternatively you can change modem also, if you want to.
Otherwise re-download the ROM, reinstall with gapps and see what happens then. Do not forget the wipes.
But please, tell as well what measures you did to solve your problem, in detail in order to get proper help.

I made several tries to find out why I had an issue with the radio.
I replaced XXLRK by XXLB2 and the problem was still here.

Then I stayed with paranoid 2.10 and replaced the kernel with hydra kernel, and my problem disappeared.

So that was a kernel issue.

Original Ringtones and Notifications not played

So I tried to move the Orignal Samsung Notifcations and Ringtones into the corresponding Audio Folder in the System Folder.

They are now shown by the Menu, but they are not played if I select one of them as default Notifications Sound.

on 0.5 I did exactly the same and it worked flawlessly.

Any suggestions?
