Hello
I too have had problems with call recording. Especially since I have upgraded to CM13. On my Galaxy S5 Sprint.
I did find one app that is perfect, loud and clear even on Bluetooth.
And that is Call Recorder by SKValex.
It will set you back 9.95 USD. But it works.

Just switched to huawei honor 7, recording only works via speaker, is there a way to get it working on stock rom without root?

Incoming call Nexus 5x
Hello from me.

I have a Nexus 5x (rooted, 6.0.1), with Call Recorder and everything works fine,
except the fact that during the incoming calls the standby-rec button doesn't appear.

Any ideas how I can fix this??
Thanks in advance..

Hi, I put contacts in exception list to never record them but the application randomly change contacts to null and start recording them, my rom is CM13 based.

Recommended hardware (mid range to high end)
Currently I use Call Recorder on my HTC M9 plus, which works very well. However I want a spare phone in case something happens to the HTC, preferably something slightly smaller (4-4.5") and maybe a little less "high end". And it should work out of the box with Call Recorded, no rooting or hacks should be necessary.

I know Mediatek chipsets are compatible but they are mostly for low end phones. What other chipsets (or phone brands) work out of the box?

In my experience, most Samsung and LG phones work well out the the box without root
