This is a CWM-Based Recovery 6.0.2.7 for Xperia S {Official JB firmware}

Credits and special thanks to Koush and everyone else involved in Cyanogenmod project!

This Recovery is built from CWM 6.0.2.7 sources for Sony Xperia S Official JB firmware! There have been some changes made to get this working on stock kernel of Xperia

thanks to all who sent the kernel.sin files!

TIP: To root device do this

[ Requirements ]

Bootloader unlocked
working fastboot
STOCK ROM FW: 6.2.B.0.200/.211 or ROMS BASED ON THAT FIRMWARE

[ features ]

standard CWM recovery 6.0.2.7/6.0.3.2 on stock kernel!

[ WARNING ]

THIS RECOVERY IS STILL IN TESTING... MAKE SURE THAT U HAVE UR COMPLETE DATA BACKED-UP (INCLUDING INTERNAL STORAGE/SDCARD DATA)

THIS IS MENT ONLY FOR STOCK ROM FIRMWARE or ROMS BASED ON THAT FIRMWARE...

[ known issues ]

do not use this for flashing CM10.1 (u will need to use the CM kernel for that)

[ how to flash this ]

download the advanced stock kernel (contains recovery)
reboot device into fastboot mode
Code:
```
adb reboot bootloader
```
now flash the recovery using
Code:
```
fastboot flash boot kernel.elf
```
[where kernel.img is the name of the file image u downloaded]
thats it!

[ how to enter recovery ]

when you see the Sony logo and the LED light turns pink/amber/orange keep tapping/pressing VOLUME UP key

i am working on newer CWM 6.0.3.2... will integrate it when i am back home

and to root device just flash: SuperSU-1.25-Busybox-1.20.2-UPDATE.zip in recovery

I am waiting for 6.0.3.2 update because 6.0.2.7 not working it cause me error in recovery which makes my mobile unbootable I had this problem with leaked firmware. 200 too

The error which I am getting is
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

I Tried fixing by all sorts of things like formatting, factory reset, flashing. 55 firmware and then flashed. 200leaked but again same problem

good job Doomlord but still cannot mount USB, xperia s excists as uknown device in control panel! do you have a fix for it?

When I get that error I can't format cache or mount it again the only thing which is working is install rom again I have to flash the kernel file alone using fastboot

I can confirm that DooMLord's root method is working for Unlocked BL devices.

1st Flash Advanced stock kernel. (http://bit.ly/18y5l7E)
2nd Go to CWM (volume UP when you see Sony logo) and install zip from the sd card. (http://d-h.st/M10)

Actually, I'm testing a root method for locked bootloaders.

Well, i cant find any tutorial to convert this .elf to a .img to makea flashable zip, i would thank anyone who makes it, or links me a to a tutorial xD

PD: apart from the cache bug, i cant mount USB to transfer files.
