[q] media storage and download mode

I just upgraded to Note 2 and would like to transfer all my photos to the new phone. I tried accesing as a media storage, but for some reason it would not give me that option. I tried going to stock by odin and my phone would not go to download mode. Its Im currently running 10.1

From this I am thinking that you cannot start up your infuse is this correct?? If not do you have USB debuggin on??
