Hello. I have a problem when using wifi. If I start to download something and lock the phone download stops and breaks. It writes: download unsucesful. I am now on Slimbean 2.2 and was on CM10 before. This behavior is the same with Semaphore kernel on both roms. On pawitp kernel everything ok witk wifi.
Someone is having the same problem with wifi?

Quite right. Stratosk already gives very generously of his time. It really would be asking too much to expect him to support a layout that the vast majority of people don't use.

I'm one of the people who uses the old layout but I still say Stratosk is right. I am currently trying to build 2.0.8 with the old layout. Its harder than modding the stock kernel but I think I'll get there in the end (with help from a certain guru).

Hope....will you share please when it's done.If it is possible.
I am on your ROM .
It's fabulous.
Sorry off top...

I have also some weird behavior with my WiFi. I have set WiFi disconnect when screen off, keep on only when charger connected, but my wifi is always on, or at least this is what the battery usage is showing.

Me too
I notice this on various ROM and different version of semaphore Kernel (don't remember if on JB only or even ICS too).
Suddenly I discovered my phone in recovery mode no matter what I'm doing the moment just before.
I'm sure this happen with OC 1100 and 1140; not sure if with normal clock this can be avoid, I'm gonna test with this then for sometimes.

How can I help you understanding this big Stratosk?

Am I the only one that notices the dalvik cache wipe in recovery mode not working? If I delete the contents inside data/dalvik-cache and then reboot, then android finally Optimizes Apps..

Hi Stratosk! Thanks again for your awsome work here!
One question: would it be possible to implement this in your kernel?

It's supposed that it's already implemented. Do you have issues with this? I'm sorry but I can't test it. I just blindly implement it.

Can you please try to enable WiFi PM FAST from Semaphore app?

Can WIFI connect to ad-hoc networks? In stock cm10 kernel is not possible.

WiFi driver is identical with CM10 kernel. So, I guess no. :)

Do you have deep idle enabled?

I will test it and I will try to fix it on next version.

Thanks Stratosk! It's a common occurrence(glitch) with Sema and Devils and stock CM kernels not wiping dalvik :p

I thought I was fixed it. And as I remember it worked for me. Anyway, I will double check it.

Really? I don't know about it and I didn't notice something. But, usually, I work all day on my PC so maybe I'm not the right person to ask. :) Not in my plans for full beard.

Any other suspicious configuration except OC? (deep idle, NSTools?)

haha okay  But i think it would be an awesome feature. Instead of "compiled with linaro" you could write "compiled with full beard" :p

hehe sry for off topic:D

Does anyone knows how to increase the RAM up to the maximum of 390MB for CM 10? I couldn't find any guide on this on the opening pages of this thread. I must also admit, I didn't search the whole thread.

In order to load various modules of the kernel and enable or disable features use Semaphore Manager or use HM.Carbide's Semaphore Script Manager application. It automatically copies and runs the respective scripts from /res/scripts to /system/etc/init.d directory.
Custom Voltage may be configured with Voltage control or similar applications.

For more information check the semaphore kernel website: www.semaphore.gr

For questions or issues about Semaphore Manager please visit this thread

For questions or issues about Semaphore Script Manager please visit HM.Carbide thread

Thanks everybody for your words and your support!
Your huge support and interest about Semaphore makes me want to try even more for something better.

Maybe it's not obvious, but I'm working hard on this project. Last weeks, I try more to expand my knowledge and contribute to Linux kernel.
As I said, this may not have immediate affect in Semaphore versions. But I hope for some results in near future.

Semaphore is here. I'm here. Semaphore will not stop. I will try to contribute to Linux kernel, through this project. Maybe using other device, but with the same goals.

    Thanks again for everything.
