Hi

I am trying to find a way to extend the storage of my Shield but without the use of usb OGT, because when I run out battery I will have to disconnect the storage to recharge the Shield.

So the only way is using the microSD slot.
today microSD support 'only' 64GB of space.
It is good but we need more and more....

The only solution I found is to use a SD to microSD converter like this:

http://dx.com/p/sd-to-microsd-transflash-card-converter-module-27001

today we have 256GB SDCARD but it is tooo expensive.
The solution is the 128GB SDCARD

But I think I need more space

I was wondering if exist a way to adapt 2 or more sdcard in one slot.

something like that:

http://dx.com/p/photofast-cr-9000-6...-flash-disk-adapter-converter-192gb-max-17790

but with microsd card output.

ps: sorry for my english

I got a microsd to full SD adapter on the shield. I can do 128GB full sized sd and have heard there might even be 256GB cards available but I haven't looked into it.

I'm not sure if the SD standard supports hubs like you are suggesting like USB does though. It would be interesting to find out regardless of if it were practicle or not. Maybe even a hardware mod with 2 full sized slots out of the microsd header.

I am using:

n64: Mupen 64 plus
genesis/snes/playstation/mame152 = retroarch
mame139 = mame4droid
nintendo DS = Drastic
dreamcast = reicast
neo geo = Neo emu free
psp = ppsspp

that is it

How did you get the Retroarch to work? Cause it doesnt have any customizeable controller imputs for shield, plus it is pretty advanced looking too :/

It just works.

It detect the controller automatically.

I spend some time learning it well, but after that it was worth.

The problem start when you need to remap the buttons :p

just a tip:
the start button is the left or right stick 'click'.

Darn. Neither this emu or fpse detects the L2 and R2 triggers on the shield -.-

the auto configuration detect the L2/R2 and works.

but you can't remap this buttons.

For PSX games I think the default mapping is fine.

Inside the game, just press the 'start/play' button on your shield and select:
settings->Input options
On analog D-pad Mode, select Left Analog.
On Device type, select Joypad w/ Analog.
