When I turn off the device It is rellay suspended ( I configured it in this way). But after some time the devices goes hibernate and this change is done in low power consuption so the problem arrises......
look at the advanced settings in both mode to see what is different please,
it could help us to see what can lead to an issue and what won't.
I checked the advanced settings in the 3 powerplans and included the results in attached pdf file. My first conclusion is that it is caused by the powersave mode of the wireless adapter but I still need to check this more in depth. I keep you posted.
nice job man !! I think that the first page is the most interesting.
USB and WIFI could be the reason .. If we can be sure about the option, we could keep the power saving mode
I ve changed it right now and I am going to test your solution....
Finally I had a crash from suspended to hibernated. I left the device turned on. After 10 minutes It went to suspended state. And after 30 minutes It tried to hibernate (This is how I configured it) and It crashed because the system turned on by itself reporting a previous system crash.
So I ve removed SP1 and all works correctly now in all the power modes. I will stay in this way until Microsoft releases officially SP1 (via windows update).

Hi,
what to do? Can’t go into „sleep“ or „hibernate“.
By chance – Vista sort of told me – I found out that it might be the “HTC HID Pen Driver, htcpen.sys” that causes the problem. My driver version is: 1.1.0.0. I guess everyone has got the same version.
In the mean time I deactivated the driver, but no success. So, do I have to uninstall it to find out, if it works? And how can I reinstall the driver?
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks!
S.
