Clicked OK..

..Now it says Uninstall completed.

Chip unknown. . . so no one knows if it is safe or not. Am i the only one who thinks this whole thing is unacceptable and not our job to fix?

Most countries have consumer rights organizations/watchdogs. i think we all should officially complain about Samsung. This is an expensive phone, less than a year old. Samsung have ruined it with so-called update, and dont even acknowledge their mistake.

Hi Chainfire and thanks for this very useful information. I think we should be able to send our phones back to Samsung just on the basis of this (hehe, I know this will never happen).

But I have a 2 week old Galaxy Note International (from Germany) and my result are:
- Type: VYL00M
- CID: to lazy to fill out
Revision: 0x19

Verdict:

DANGER! This eMMC chip is KNOWN to have the brick bug!

I have a question, if I return my G.NOTE and order a new one, as I still have some time before the 30 days expire, is there a possibility of receiving a different eMMC chip or do all the International Notes have the same problem?
