CM9ight HD2 ROM


As a continuation om my CM7ite rom and to celebrate my thanks meter reaching 5000
I've decided to thank you guys with a special small CM9 rom..

Key Features :

  • Android 4.0.4
  • Small CM9 with some 'exclusive' options (credits and thanks KonstaT)
  • HWA Gpu libs and kernel (thanks Securecrt)
  • HWUI deny app and patch (thanks Securecrt, royale1223)
  • Multilanguage
  • Small ROM (115 mb system partition)
  • NativeSD & Dual Installer

Download for the HTC HD2 : (Please do not mirror stuff)

Installation Information :

Minimal partition size table when installing the rom to NAND :

Code: 
misc ya 1M
boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 115M
cache ya 2M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

Minimal SD-EXT partition size when installing the rom to SD-EXT:

Code: 
EXT4 Partition with at least 512M free

After SD-EXT installation set your SD Bootfolder to the 
'NativeSD' folder found on your sdcard.

Boot the ROM from SD.

- Update only (not a complete rom.. needs to be flashed over an existing v1.1a installation)
- Updated some apps and market
- Included 'volume rocker wake' (screen options)
- Included 'torch power widget button' (system options)
- Made some changes to the 'about phone' section (now directing to this page instead of modaco)
- Included tytung cm9 phone.apk to enable phonecalls @ -182 dpi (credits : tytung)

- Moved volume key cursor control to framework, works now with third party keyboards (Settings -> Language & input -> Volume key cursor control)
- Hot Reboot option in power menu

- Made the ramdisk compatible for NativeSD usage

Now my question is, what makes this rom slim? what exactly did you remove ?

Is this one of the CM9 nightlies or is it tytung's rom slimmed down? Thanks a lot for it btw!

Thanks, I will try it today;) Maybe I replace my beloved paranoidandroid 1.5b rom with this one.

Neither of both, but I've used binaries of both.

There are no PA settings included ...you can however move your statusbar to the bottom :rolleyes:

I am on the road and will be (mostly) off for the weekend so I was in a hurry releasing this before the weekend ...

Next time I will release a ROM after I polished/cleaned/decorated/put some flowers and had a weekend off @ the 1st post

For now.. make a nand, flash the ROM and flash back nand if you don't like it..

Yes softkeys can be enabled from the settings :rolleyes:

    Changelog CM9ight leo v1.2 Qiss My Ass edition:

    • Implemented Native 720p video player capabilities (credits and thanks for not sharing : Qiss Me Rom team)
    • Included a probably modified HWA kernel of 'Dorimanx' (credits and thanks for not sharing : Qiss Me Rom team)
    • Updated some core apps
    • Please keep in mind that this is a 'dirty hacked' version of CM9ight to include the video stuff.. if you.. for some reason don't need native 720p functionality I recommend you to stay on the previous version !
    • Check the HWA kernel thread for more 'chit chat' about this...
    • Enjoy !
