PARANOID JELLYBEAN HD2 BETA v2.15 portadroid

For the 'stable' ICS version of paranoid android check 2nd post !

This rom is based on the great work of team paranoidandroid
and the Evervolv Nightlies from Evervolv team so all credits and thanks to them in the first place !

remember this ROM is BETA for a reason.. expect some bugs and stuff not working !

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.

Features :
Phone, Tablet and Phablet mode
P.A.L., First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density. You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell), etc.

Note that first boot will take about 10 mins (depending on size of data.ext4 created) and will end with the phone rebooting. Second boot will take less time and will show the boot animation (as opposed to portadroid screen in first boot). You are porting this build, it is so that some apps are put in data.ext4 file. You can safely delete root_tmp folder after second boot to save space. Remember to reboot x3

MY PORTS of PARANOIDANDROID HD2

[29-06-12][SD/MAG] PARANOIDANDROID HD2 [v1.5B][TABLET/HYBRID][CM9][tytung HWA R3.2]]

Changelog PARANOIDANDROID HD2 v1.5b

- Included the 'last minute fixes' from D4rKn3sSyS
- Included latest hwa 3.2 tytung kernel
- Odexed the framework for more system response and speed
- Odexed most of the system apps except the Gapps and Email (for more speed)
- Included supercharged services.jar before odexing for the ones that use it
- Stock launcher is set to Die-Hard (will retain in memory)
- Removed some duplicated files from the system
- Moved the additional ringtones to sd-card to safe space for odexing process
- Moved and Symlinked Google Talk video chat libs to data/lib to safe space
- Compressed the wallpapers included in the Trebuchet Launcher
- Set default to 'hybrid mode' so 'Per App Denisty' is working (was locked in stock phone mode)
- Set a default Gallery dpi so it won't force close..
- Fine tuned release which should be updatable from previous release.. Enjoy !

So far it's excelent!

Only had to use "PARA_hd2_SimUnlockFix"!

Battery drain is about 5-7mha.

Place them inside "update" folder.

@Wis,

I'm having trouble fixing the keyboard.
I turned off tablet mode and the keyboard got very small ( although it's only visual since keys are big and invisible ).
Changed it's DPI to 280 but it still not correct.

Any ideas?

could someone help me out about what the sim-unlock fix is about? i've got the build running for over 3 hours i think, installing apps, making and answering calls and stuff and it's running perfectly. am i missing some bug here?

Create root folder inside Droid folder,now copy meta-inf and system folders inside root folder,reboot

Probably the best so far! Very fast and nice. My only grumble is VPN! Even with tytung_HWA_r2.3uM booting from Magldr, the VPN does not work. I guess that Tytungs VPN fix was not in the Kernal. Otherwise this would already be my daily ROM! Then again, not many use VPN so for most this must be a big event!
