Yea, no one answered me earlier so I unzipped the folder and copied it into the apps folder and I just got done flashing the zip with the app I inserted...maybe I should've put that wifi calling apk saranhai just posted in there too but it's not much of a hassle to do it via root explorer anyways.

Where would one find the apk for the ROM Control? Is it as easy as placing it in the apps folder?

I just got it from the IceColdSandwich ROM in our android dev thread. You'll have to unzip the ROM and it's in the system>app folder.
I'm sure you can, but I did it my way from my computer cause I wasn't quite ready to flash this yet cause I was using IceColdSandwich at the moment and wasn't really having any problems.

  • Download the .apk i posted
  • Now you have two ways of doing this: through adb, or through the phone itself.

adb way:
  • move the file to the folder where your adb tools are (mine is C:/androidsdk/platform-tools)
  • connect phone to computer, make sure your computer sees the phone
  • type in
Code: 
adb push the-wifi-calling-app.apk /system/app
adb reboot

Phone way:
  • Move file to SDcard
  • use a file explorer that has access to the /system folder of the phone, i suggest Root Explorer, it's very good
  • Manually move the file to /system/app from your SDcard
  • Confirm that the permissions are set to rw r r
  • reboot

Did it both ways, still FC'd on both.

I think zips worked some kind of voodoo magic and made my phone have better signal than usual.
I'm sitting in a spot where I normally have 1 bar, but it's showing full bars. :confused:

Actually, same here. I live in a place with NO bars (I will get 1 bar for a few seconds if I'm really lucky), but I am getting full bars with this. Just sent a text and it worked just fine.

Edit: Nevermind, it's all a lie again. Only that one text sent. Rawr.
Edit 2: Sent another one and it sent. This is too confusing.

    I've finally managed to fix wired headset Low MIC issue, hooray!

    Low MIC Fix includes:
    Handset Fix
    Headset Fix
    DualMic Fix

    This fix should work for any ICS powered Roms and kernels for HTC Glacier/HTC Panache, probably will work for HTC Ace and HTC Vision too.

    The update is coming, just having some personal issues that I have to take care first and to be honest, yes I do have the HTC ONE S, but I will keep updating this ROM. I won't go away.
