Instructions
**MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE USING AN HBOOT THAT HAS AT LEAST 240MB ON THE SYSTEM PARTITION (STOCK HBOOT WORKS FINE)** (Unless you are using a Slim version)

Recommendations/Requirements:
- A 512mb - 1.5gb ext partition (ext4 recommended) on your sdcard. Use this guide, and this guide only to create the partition. Partitions made using other tools (CWM, Minitool Partition Wizard, etc.) will likely cause issues.
-A somewhat decently functioning brain

  1. Download ROM and GAPPS
  2. Boot into recovery and make a nandroid backup (optional but recommended)
  3. Full wipe
  4. Flash ROM
  5. Flash GAPPS
  6. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
  7. Reboot
  8. Activate a2sd by running the following commands in the provided terminal emulator app:
    Code:
    su
    a2sd install
    y
    n
    y
  9. Flash the Fixes & Add-On's that you would like (found in second post)

Downloads

Build 5: Mediafire
- Initial release

Build 7: Mediafire
- Added new system animations
- A couple under the hood changes
- CM updates

Build 8: Mediafire
- Performance tweaks (rom is a bit faster)
- Graphic changes
- Trackpad wake
- LowSoundFixer

Build 9: Mediafire
- Bionic optimizations
- Navigation Bar

- Hardware acceleration
- Camera improvements
- Graphic changes

https://github.com/csytracy
https://github.com/WoH

https://github.com/kshark27/UltraExplorer

Thanks to
-Cyanogenmod for rom source
-Evervolv for kernel and vendor tree
-csytracy for releasing the source to his cm build
-WoH for the device tree and a few other repos (bionic)
-parkedraccoon for helping me make the rom buttery smooth

Ports
Nexus One - tommypacker

Other Info
All in all, this ROM is Cyanogenmod 10.1 with a few graphic changes. It also includes various extra features that have been cherry picked from multiple sources. In addition this ROM is compiled without the use of cchache and only full clean builds are released. This means that it will take longer for me to compile, however it will result in a reduced chance of bugs and maybe even an increase in performance.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think :)

More Stuff & FAQ

How do I disable Navigation Bar?
Settings > Chromium ROM settings > Button Height > 0dp (off)

Im getting graphical issues & tearing throughout some apps in build 10. How do I fix this?
First go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times. That will enable the Developer options menu. Go into it and enable "Disable HW overlays".
This should solve all of these issues, but keep in mind that this option does not stick after a reboot. Therefore you will need to re-enable it upon each boot.
**There is now a fix for this - Download and flash it from the Fixes & Add-On's section above**

Recommended Settings for Performance:
First go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times. That will enable the Performance menu. Then go into it and choose these:

Processor:
CPU Governor - Performance
Min CPU Freq. - 460MHz
Max CPU Freq - 1113MHz

I/O scheduler:
I/O scheduler - CFQ

Memory management:
zRam - 26%
Allow purging of assets - Enabled
KSM - Enabled

Also install Nova launcher, as Trebuchet (the stock launcher) seems to be a bit laggy.

Here are some screenshots of the battery life im getting after a day of heavy usage:
Almost 4 hours of screen on time...Keep in mind that i still have another 20% battery left in the screenshots.

I could try, but I don't think I can make it that small. I've already removed a lot from.it.
Why not just use a2sd?...it works fine

I havent used it for long enough yet. But after about 3 days i havent encountered anything too big. Only issue ive noticed is that sometimes the phone doesnt wake immediately when it is locked (when you press the lock button it takes a couples seconds for the screen to turn on

wifi works fine for me. Try asking in the q&a section

also i completely forgot to add a gapps download...i was too focused on getting the rom to boot. So does anyone have a gapps package that works well with this? Let me know and I'll add it to the OP. One more thing, has anyone tested jelly hboot? Should work fine, just wondering

Re: [ROM]<--CHROMIUM ROM v1.0-->[JB 4.2.2][CM10.1]

You could copy the systemui.apk into another ROM, but its possible that it won't work.

Or you could just download the soft keys that you want and manually put them into your ROMs systemui yourself...that's guaranteed to work.

Alright everyone... I've added build 10 to the OP, and thanks to some help from @parkedraccoon, it is noticeably faster/smoother than all of the previous builds. Ive also fixed the issue that caused the 0dp button height to not work as intended. So now if you want to turn the navigation bar off, you no longer need to use Expanded desktop to do so. Just set the height to 0dp and it should work fine.

As always i recommend a full wipe, but you could probably get away with a dirty flash if you're on a previous build. With that being said, if you want to see the full effects of the performance increase without the possibility of other factors interfering, you should probably do a full wipe.

Anyways, flash it and let me know if you feel the buttery smoothness. :D

Hey guys, I compiled a build yesterday with hardware acceleration enabled, and I also merged all of the build 10 hotfixes that others and I have provided over the last couple of months. Basically just a more refined version of build 10. I'll upload it in a few hours, so hopefully a some of you can test it out and give me some feedback as to whether or not I should release it as build 11. Thanks :)

Ok its uploading now, so it should be available in about an hour. Here's what my plan is (let me know what you think):
-stop making this rom (the one thats uploading now will be the final release...no more updates)
    -start making stock cyanogenmod weeklies
-attempt to compile liquid smooth (if this works i will make liquid smooth weeklies as well)
    Sound good?

Edit: New build has been added to op. Completely source compiled :)
