(Yes I enabled it in the settings )

Ok, looks like dmesg doesn't return the logs. Can you provide a logcat?

If I recall correctly, droidwall relies on dmesg for its logs.
I've had issues before with other roms that disabled dmesg and/or logcat for speed purposes - they effectively disabled the droidwall log too.

* Significant improvements while loading applications.
* Fixed force close issue while adding system apps.
* Added new language translations

Ukanth,
hey bro, is there anything I can do to help track that bug that I still have, that causes AFwall to stall on first run after a boot?

I put some optimizations for that, thought it will work. To track this better, could you please log an defect on github ? so that we can discuss about it.

I'll look into it and see how we can utilize iptables itself for the logs, so that we can get rid of the old dmesg style log.

Odp: [2.2+][ROOT][1.1.8] AFWall+ IPTables Firewall [23/Jan/2013]
Not sure, whether I've encountered a small bug in AFwall, or the problem exists on my side, but the app gets stuck on "reading installed applications" in following scenario:
1. I install an app and set it's permissions in AFWall
2. some time later I uninstall the app
3. some time later I install it again

So far the only solution I've found is to remove all AFWall data via Settings/Application, then reinstall AFWall and import rules.

If you can reproduce this issue:
- exit AFwall with the HOME key
- use a task manager to KILL AFwall
- re launch afWall and it should not get stuck

It seems like the same STUCK symptom as what I have only a different trigger scenario. Are there others experiencing similar but not saying anything? If so, please chime in.

And please provide a logcat. That is invaluable when troubleshooting.

How can i include an external custom script? I need to frequently update this rules with SSH/SFTP. Managing them manually in that small text box is not an option. There's no security risk if one keeps it root-only.

I removed custom script option from AFWall+ for security reasons. I've plans to improve that custom script page ( wizard kind of UI) may be in the upcoming version.
