Didn't work on Galaxy Nexus GSM with stock Android 4.1.1 JRO03C (locked bootloader) and selecting "Other"

Code:
Please connect device with ADB-Debugging enabled now....
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
5292 KB/s (1085140 bytes in 0.200s)
4183 KB/s (22364 bytes in 0.005s)
2306 KB/s (843503 bytes in 0.357s)
Now unlock your device and confirm the restore operation.
Please look at your device and click RESTORE!
If all is successful i will tell you, if not this shell will run forever.
Successful, going to reboot your device!
Waiting for device to show up again....
mount: permission denied (are you root?)
/system/xbin/su: cannot open for write: Read-only file system
Unable to chmod /system/xbin/su: No such file or directory
/system/app/Superuser.apk: cannot open for write: Read-only file system
Unable to chmod /system/app/Superuser.apk: No such file or directory
rm failed for /data/local.prop, No such file or directory
You can close all open command-prompts now!
After reboot all is done! Have fun with Root!

Is there any special sauce in the fakebackup.ab? Or does the backup not play a role at all here?

Very bad... I thought internal memory back up only deleted , i had it on sd card (flash) my 2 backups including last one from 2 days ago deleted... but anyway internal memory is not wiped i can back up any time ... thats one good thing...

by the b4 i got root ( worked on second attempt) - on both attempt.. i got error message , 'cant connect external memory.. connect and try again' . the error is not worded exactly , still that was about... but otherwise proceeded successfully...

There is, it is a file with some fileXX files inside, the android backup manager restore this files while a loop runs to symlink /data/local.prop to file99, once file99 is being created the local.prop is filled with the qemu=1 value and after reboot you will get a root adb shell
The script then is going to put all stuff in place and removed the local.prop again.

Uh really? i will try again without wiping the backups, i am not sure if it is working then correctly, on my last trys i had not manager to get it working when NOT deleting internal backup, you can peek a look in the script, it runs wipes internal files.

It should be when Root back up installed onto sesmic_backup folder... After its done only available restore option is root one... But options lists could be pulled out from system which may be deleted . but actual back up is deleted in flash memory is not understandable when nothing on sd card is usually touched

Am I dumb in thinking this version will never work as it will get stuck in the loop since the restore command is after the loop?
