That's HTC Flash Lite, which only works on Sense ROMs and doesn't support all features of Flash 10.1. We will never get Flash 10.1, it's just too complicated to try and get it to work on ARMv6 processors without official support.

Having an issue with Facebook sync. It won't let me add my facebook account in Accounts and Sync in Settings. I press add account and click on Facebook and nothing happens. No pictures sync, nothing. It started on v1.7 and then i upgraded to v1.9 and still no dice. Please help.

did you wipe? reflash Gapps?

But after rebooting, I just see the CM7 logo with the spinning arrow over and over. It'll pause, but then the logo restarts with the android on the skateboard, rinse - repeat. It sat like that for 5 mins before I had to pull the batter and reflash following the same steps. And now I'm seeing that logo replay over and over again. Any ideas?

Yes, just wait longer. It'll come around.

I wiped davlik, not full wipe. But it was working fine and then Facebook went down and i had to re login and then no pictures were syncing. So I deleted the account from sync and tried to add it again, but it won't let me. I flashed gapps and c2c.

do a full factory wipe and a davlik wipe. then reinstall GSB, gapps, etc .. if that doesn't work .. reformat your SD card and start over - this will start you over fresh with out any legacy system files.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure that you set up Facebook contact sync within the Facebook app. It's one of the settings; when you install the app, it asks you if you want to sync contacts.

I had this happen to me too. it's likely a system file is corrupt. I'm assuming that he checked the facebook application that it is setup to sync.

keyboards

so how does the back up of the keyboard take place if i buy one for my cell and i eventually upgrade the rom when gsb 2.0 comes out. Will it get saved with my other downloads or what?

DAMN keyboard

ok why the hell does this keyboard end up going all delayed on my typing.... Will someone please figure out how to get the original htc keyboard on this rom. I love the rom but my eris is making me angry with the gingerbread keyboard and i am to cheap to buy another one... I dont know what i need to tweak to get keyboard caught up with my typing speed. I did try the HTC ones before but on restart they get disabled and the stock gingerbread keyboard takes over again.

I've noticed lag in the keyboard too and it's no better with the HTC keyboard either.

Is that what zach has in xtr ROMs? I don't recall him saying it's flash lite (heck even that would be good enough) as he specifically says its 10.1 (although i do see the flashlight apk in the system/app folder anyway) I've seen posts of the modified apks for 2.1 but they reportably only work with sense based roms.

I know people get annoyed at the flash questions but in all honesty these won't go away until these phones get so old everyone has moved on or someone writes up an article on WHY it doesn't work (and i mean including why also hacking the APK is difficult, not just 'adobe will not support armv6') and those who asked why get directed to it. I don't see any of the no's i've found follow with a link with details, just other forums that have 'no'.

Putting up an post/forum saying "it doesn't work" will not appease the masses.

Anywho "workshed" i'm glad to hear you are gonna share your eris port with CM. I think they would greatly benefit from your work

No, very responsive.

The only problem I've had with it wad trying to run it from the system partition it stopped working. So I just leave it on the data partition.

From gimpsta, it doesn't come with the calibration app, clicker.apk, but you can find it on xda and install it and then calibration works just fine.

Also, if you want to change colors, you can just install another one right over the existing one.
