This is very interesting. I don't have an n1 (htc desire) and wonder, how did you get this far? What did you do about the kernel etc?

Edit: Gave my development laptop to my younger brother so now i have to set up vm on my pc

@texasace: have you looked at hw acceleration yet? or 3d?

I have not. I don't really have any knowledge of that stuff. It doesn't run half bad right now. Not too much lag. If we can get audio, wifi, 3g issues sorted out it would be very usable.

Yep, the main problem of SDK port was not the lacks of hw acceleration but the SDK base, btw i think we can work closely since Desire and N1 share the same hardware so if i can get something to work it will help you too and viceversa.

Slightly off topic as we are talking Desire, but I was thinking the same thing. I have limited availability to my build env at the moment. I was hoping to get the sources to this stage for the desire and post a thread similar in desire section.

At the moment, I am having issues with the AudioFliger and MediaPlayer parts though so not done a full complile yet. I'll resync the original /frameworks back over the weekend and try again.
