According to OP I need to "enable "Settings > Developer > USB Debugging" on the device and connect it to the computer with a USB cable". I don't have Developer nor USB Debugging in Settings menu (although tapping on Build number gives message Developer mode is on).

My Company has restricted access; installing from unknown sources is blocked (option is greyed out). So I guess Developer option is Settings was removed.

Is a work around available to get it working?
