I installed v1.77 MCU from 4pda.ru (these guys have done great work on organizing content and they have ALL MCUs for downloaded).
With that version - button lights' work as expexted.
Then I reflashed 2.80 - and they are always ON.
So, it is bug in latter version...
I wonder that noone cares nor is fixing such obviouse bug for more than year and dozen of released version....
Of course, there is no point contacting Chinese seller. But I wonder if anyobe here knows the producers, have contacting with developers... I wonder if these guys even have one test unit for themselvs (the reduction of manufacturing costs)
Anyhiw, as we concluded tge bug, how we can fix it?
Anyobe here is capable of reverse engineering the MCU and fixing this? I am NOT capable of that, but I'm rising this issue as it is not only one but one realy noticable bug with these MCU firmware.
I noticed that from released to released many new and strange bugs are arrising, demonstrating very poor (if any) QA and development methodology of 'producers'. Thus, if we dont find alternative devs for MCUs (as we have God blessing with Malaysk for system ROM!) we will be stuck with gambling of bugs and issyes with every new MCU released. A even the great effort with ROM development, XPosed and other great stuff will be hurt with unreluable and unpredictable MCU functionalities.
