Hi all. I'm currently running 4.3 with S-OFF in the old firmware and it runs very well, but for some reason my SD card unmounts by itself quite frequently and I have no idea why. I can manually go to settings and re mount it, but its pretty annoying.

Has anyone experienced or know what the problem may be?

Thanks!

Just randomly checked to see if Scott had a new ROM based on the latest leak and there it was. I'm going to go sit on my couch, watch TV and update/rebuild my phone.

Thanks Scott.

Cant say I have seen that. I would take out SD Card and make sure no dust or fingerprints or something like. Other than that I have not heard of this.

Haha! This is just the kernel and build.prop from the leak. Not the entire thing yet... Have to work on a couple more things for the full leak but this is just as good. Trust me! :p

Hi Scott, thanks for the 4.4 update. I am currently S-on, never messed with it. I have the 3.11 build and loving the 4.3. I know there are directions to run 4.4 with my current set up, but I am curious if I should just do the s-off? Then, run your 4.4 creation :)

Awesome job Scott, smooth and clean as ****. Pro version is exactly what should be on the phone from the start, none of that bull**** we don't need. :)

Just downloaded the new 4.4 & firmware patch for GB. Both saved to root of sd card. so I just go to recovery, wipe everything, factory reset, flash the ROM, let it load, once the ROM is up & running, reboot to recovery again them flash the patch right?

I'm currently unlocked, rooted on GB running chingy's ROM. Thanks in advance!

No....

See post #2. You are #4 on post #2.

And dont use any other patches than the one that is included in the ROM. When you flash the ROM it will put the patches on the SD Card.

Method 4
  • S-ON and 2.x Firmware (GB)(hboot 2.1x)
  • Copy ROM to SD Card
  • Reboot to recovery
  • Wipe Data / Factory reset
  • Flash ROM
  • Flash Old Firmware Patch
  • Reboot to bootloader and flash boot.img that is in the PH98IMG.zip
  • Reboot / Profit!

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

Np. Not trying to bite your head off or anything, but wipe is always almost recommended.

You get to go off on someone and get a thanks for that.

I post a killer ROM and then a mirror by request and I get **** :(

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
