Not sure I've had it long enough to say. But I just posted in the battery thread that I'm at 14 hours with 34% left in the tank. Of course it will hurt, but I'm a moderate user and I'm not playing beat-the-clock to get the phone on the charger each night so it works well for me.
That being said, some live wallpapers are hogs! You can usually tell because they will bring the performance of the app drawer or launcher down. Example, the 3d app drawer on the g2x is usually smooth as butter, super high framerate. When you get a LW hog, scrolling through the drawer becomes jagged, it loses that fluidity to it. This is usually how I tell if a LW is going to be a no go. Grass seems to be very light weight as far as LW go.

I just tap them both at the same time without any issues, don't hold anything.

And from ur posts i can see ur not even using i9100 u r using t mobile"s subsidised galaxy phone which is running 2.3.5. And the video is for galaxy s2 international version.
When i hit both , the phone either locks or that stupid task manager pops up

Then you're not tapping them both at the same time, but rather one after the other just with a really quick delay in-between. If you push the home button first, you have about 1-1.5 seconds to tap the lock button. Make sure you don't hold either one down too long though. Works fine for me. I'll make a video if more people have an issue.
And from ur posts i can see ur not even using i9100 u r using t mobile"s subsidised galaxy phone which is running 2.3.5. And the video is for galaxy s2 international version.

as for the text icons theres an app on the the play store called Simple text icon creator:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redphx.simpletext&hl=en
Unfortuneately the Jaku theme is a paid theme for iOs only. But with the proper amount of digging you can find the original pack.

All of the text widgets are Minimalistic text and the green color code is 8DDB09. The weather widgets are Beautiful Weather, the launcher is LPP, and I edited the battery icon and font in UTO Kitchen.

costume dock with transparent icon, so i can hide the app drawer icon
Icone are from the market Miui and Glasket
Battery widget are from minimalistic text with barcode font
Playerpro music widget
Fancy widget 1x1 with tick weather icon. You can use beautiful widget as well
