I'm still on GB firmware and radios and running cm9 and it seems to be working fine. I just can't get wifi to even turn on while running aokp

I heard the workaround fix is to turn it on and then reboot, once it reboots it should stay on.

Yup. I found that. I was scared it wasn't starting, rebooted and was able to connect

Make sure you are HTC Unlocked and S-Off'd

I flashed the one from your Twitter and I had no issues with S-ON.. Is it because I flashed the kernal from NeoMax's thread?

didn't work for me. doing that works on CM9, but not AOKP.

The OP says "do not flash this" but the actual page says last update was 50 seconds ago (more now obviously). It also says it's been downloaded 103 times, which seems like a lot for 50 seconds.
I just don't know if the update is uploaded yet... Sorry I'm so wordy about it.

S off is just so you don't have to flash the kernel manually.

No it should be fine if you flash the kernel after, but only S-Off devices are supported currently.

(I'm s-on as well) When i first tryed AOKP i extracted the boot.img from the ota package and just flashed it via fastboot and it worked fine except for wifi
