Miss the genie app (Google News and Weather)

hi Baad,

in install script is an option to leave some HTC apps where they are (in the zip... ;))

I´ve chosen "install all HTC apps" during, install but after that the genie is not installed. What can i do to have the genie back?

edit: try to place the genie.apk from the eclipse B2 I´ve stolen...
edit 2: call me "flashmaniac" it workx LOL

Now Your ROM ist nearly perfect! for me / F*** 4 BT and FM ;)

dudes - guess I was inspired to do so because I´ve RTFM (this forum) a couple of entry's above regardding locations

I am running arhd 3.6 sense. If I want try insertion what I have to do? Just do superwipe and flash your rom or downgrade firmware or something. I missing guide on first page.

Do yourself a favor and RTFM (this forum) and you should be able to understand why you have to do something you understand (after reading) or not.

switching from one devs ROM to an other needs a ultra full wipe, mate
Best is double check this with install the new ROM include full wipe and format your SD-Card too, and before this backup your ROM with 4EXT Recovery. So you will also have a plan B .

LOL - its a logical thing that the ROM are developed in this forum can only be the BEST :p

how do you open the "recent apps"? In further version it was possible to long press the home button or take a look in the status-bar. But i couldnt find this solutions here. Is there a new trick?


Esit: Sorry sorry sorry! i wrote "recent" wrong so i didnt find the right post here in the thread. Now i saw my fault and found the solution: Just press the search button :) THX for a great rom! It runs perfect and i really enjoy the new sense!

hmm, tried remapping my keys in cy8keys-touchscreen.kl
the search button works but my home button is dead lol

xD dude that get Better Internet , Even the under Developed Countries have faster net LOL

I M NOT SAYING whICH is BEtter

But MOST RECOMMANDED IS INSERTCOIN ROM , ITS ROCK SOLID STABLE

    do you people think we devs have a magic fix on our laptops, and keep for ourselves ? really .

    When and if we can fix BT MMS and whatever you (the users) will be the 1st to know.

    I'm well aware of the problems, also i tried numerous times and ways to fix em but didn't pan out, this is life you win some you loose some.

    +1 -ing or posting how much you want that to be fixed because its essential to you DOES NOT SPEED UP THINGS unfortunately .

    Or what do you want? to put my life on hold and only try to fix whatever problems there are 24/7?

    bottom line. i don't have a solution for BT, MMS, Hotspot, camera not working as on one series! Sorry, maybe i'm a bad chef /dev whatever.
    Doesn't mean i abandoned this and i'm still trying to fix it.

    you don't like it this way, oh well get another rom .. ops, same problems there too .. YOu want everything working? GET SENSE 3.6 FROM HTC (oh wait that one has problems with wifi auto wake-up , lockscreen wallpaper and so on) YOu wanna ***** at someone ? contact HTC. They sold ur phone.
    you don't like what i'm doing move along. Frustration should be aimed at HTC not us devs. we do what we can with what we have as a hobby.
