I have a X10 mini and I don't see a battery listed in the site that is compatible with the phone. Will 'DEJI BST-38 1500mAh High Capacity Business Battery for Sony Ericsson S500' work on it?

Oh well, never mind. I just ordered one for myself, thanks.

I bought one in dino Deji, really like the test shows it is a little better than the original, I'm thinking of buying up to 2, because the only way to exit a weekend around the house without taking the charger.

You are awesome!!!! Thank you from all my heart. You indeed did a great job bro, I was so close to order the jin dian but than I run through this post. Now, I believe more than ever that it's very important for us to do some good research instead of just rushing and buying things! Also, keep in mind since you just bought the Deji battery this means it will even get better with time.

PS: I just ordered Deji battery :D

Update: I just found this 2000mah battery for X1,X2,X10 owners who may be interested in these well done Deji batteries :

Hey bro,

I haven't read the rest of this thread yet but i bought this battery (bst41) and i should have done more research. This battery is not for x10 mini pro or the mini. I miss read your post and just saw x10 and thought nothing of it. Don't get me wrong im not blaming you, this is more just a warning for others out there that may be as stupid as me lol.

Cheers,
evilbarcode.

Retest?

Can someone do a re-test of the batteries with more controlled variables? Like put the phone in airplane mode, then play a video clip continuously at a certain brightness level until the battery dies? :)

You have to delete your old battery data before using the new one.

xrecovery has a battery wipe option, if you play around with roms you prolly have xrecovery but then again you'd know that option already if you used it, still i found on forums to delete some file called batterystats in your system folder but my phone doesnt have it so I just use the xrecovery way.

Deji battery arrived yesterday... my experience so far:

SE battery, running stock SE2.1, CM6 or CM7, used 5% per hour... wifi off, 2g only, no sync, no data traffic... that was the absolute best i could get (briefly enabling screen each hour to record battery level).

DEJI battery, running CM7, same settings... was draining 100% to 65% at 5% per hour, so no change at all.

However, after reading a post on another site regarding iOS, WP7, and Android tracking of users, I turned off location services (not GPS - that was always off, just the basic location tracking). I did that at 65% battery at approx midnight last night.

Roughly 24 hours later... I still have 30% battery remaining!!!!!

I cannot say if it is some odd behavior of the DEJI battery, or due to turning off location services without further tests on the original SE battery with Location Services turned off.... but based on the last usage.. 35% of battery per 24 hours should give about 3 days of VERY light usage.

I was *almost* at the point of selling the x10mini pro in favour of an HTC desire Z, as the battery was abysmal, and couldn't get through one day of basically being 'off'.

Will post back after doing more tests.

HTH :)

**UPDATE**

9 hours later.... battery is still 27% :)

Sorry about the double post, is there a new battery for the mini pro? Other than the ones listed I need super long battery life. Thanks in advance.

To continue the testing thread started some time ago, here is an updated table with new battery (Deji) included. Just to repeat the testing conditions:

background data transmission on, google account sync on, 3G on, GPS on, phone idle between 10:00 and 9:00, after that time normal use - means several calls, some mp3 listening (half an hour max), some wi-fi usage and browsing.

    you, sir, are awesome
guess i'll go buy a new battery now

a question: you ran the tests with stock FW or with cyanogen?

Stock. And if you want to say thank you, just click on thanks button :)

The only problem I can foresee with soldering two lipoly batteries in parallel is that you have created two cells which cannot be 'balanced'. Both cells will have different discharge curves as well as recharge curves, I implore you to read up on lipoly technology as you could have created your very own timebomb! You can get away with this sort of stuff with lion/nimh but lipoly.... Rather you than me.

If I were you i'd get a 'lipo-safe' bag to charge your phone in.
