Cyanogen tweeted that he has been testing CM6 on the Evo. He also said that he got the camera working already :)

Awesome. Mms. Cameras were holding me back from 2.2. Wondering if camcorders will work.

Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App

@BenjRubenstein need to extend the camera app to select the source- right now it's just the front camera by default.

Only the front camera is working, they're still working on the rear.

If i may request certain features to work froyo build
Hopefully based on latest froyo code F9xxx

0. HTC sense included and 4g and rest of widgets included.
It's convenient and looks great.
1. Fixing 4G with 4G stock widget or all widget from htc stock sense.
2. Fixing camera to shoot pictures.
3. Fixing horrible 720p video camera recording quality outlined in this threat, since kernel source is available.

4. % Circle battery life indicator would be awesome shown in this thread.
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=679937
4. Multi Touch Keybord from droid x is not working on 2.2. Force errors.
5. Undervolt kernel as much as possible but with stability and no freezes.
Possible integration of those kernels as they added fps to ~60
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=711964
6. Mobile Settings in first froyo release force closes itself

it is but they where asking about the tv app ;) , hopefully it will because i do use it every once in awhile. really helped out with being able to watch world cup games!

oh woops, my bad. i completely misread, was too busy swapping out my crappy htc apps for less memory-intrusive market stuff :) yeah, tv should work fine too. i keep nav/tv on here still, but ditched the rest of their crap.
