[ROM] HTC 7 Pro 7.8 & HTC Arrive 7.8 Sianto Edition AL

Should languages be in the rom itself, or should I give you them in packages?

Thanks for the rom, it is good but missing few things. Can you possibly add the following:-

CAB updatability - except OEM (HTC) updates.
"Quick launch" menu with the most used shortcuts.
Search key mapping settings.
XAP deployer built in.

The CAB updatability - would be good (not that I would use it much but it would be nice to have)
XAP Deployer Built-In - This one would be great as the phone would install directly from source as opposed to launching the XAP Handler

The quick launch menu and the Search key mapping - find attached the cabs... if you cant include them, we can still install them...

I am also big on having a registry editor but... I can install it myself... :cool:

PS - Search key and Registry Editor xaps will show up in your SETTINGS and quickmenu is a regular app.

I'm busy with languages (not sure if arrive users need it) and I will look at cab updatability

For the 2 settings apps and quickmenu will be included in version 1.5

Read my comment. Xapdeployer, I thought it was build in, but maybe it isn't. The good news is that this feature will be build in!

Thanks for the ROM! It seems to be pretty good :)

Does anyone have solution to the HTC tile? It just shows the city, but no teperature or time...

Take your time for the next release, I know yesterday was a BIG DAY for you (hectic). You went from 1.0 to 1.4 in an afternoon just on these ROMs!! that's insane, not to mention I saw you turn out ROM after ROM for all kinds of devices!!! Gotta give you props! :good:

I have checked the packages in the rom ver 1.4 and i could see all the packages in the rom but I dont know why they are not installing when the rom is installed.
They include the Quick Menu, Search Key mapping, Root tools 0.11, XAP deployer.

Also I added the packages of the HTC Watch, Locations, Connection Setup , Connected Media from Dynamics 1.21 in to your rom and flashed it to my phone and those apps were automatically installed so I am not sure what is going on.

I hope you can figure it out.

Just wanted to say you've done a great job on this ROM, thank you! Should keep my 7 Pro ticking over until the end of my contract :)

Only issue I came across was the fact the ROM is US, so my UK phone numbers weren't being recognised. I installed a registry editor & used the following instructions to get that working:

Other than that, everything is working flawlessly. It's extremely stable for what is in essence a beta ROM.

USB Charging WORKS
SYNC with ZUNE WORKS
MMS (INCOMING) - WORKS
MMS (OUTGOING) - WORKS
BLUETOOTH - WORKS
CALLING - Calls come through clear. (just to be... clear... jejeje) - WORKS

There are also tons of apps built in, Digital Power, Search key editor, and many more. I like the inclusion of the RegEdit in the settings menu.

So far no issues, still testing as there is always lots to test... Looking forward to seeing what you continue bringing to the table! Thanks for the release

    Hi, this is the first custom Windows Phone 7.8 rom for HTC 7 Pro

    Requirements:
    HSPL

    It features:
    -Nokia Counters, Nokia Drive, Nokia Music Camera extras (NOKIA MARKETPLACE)
    -USB Video out
    -DFT Bluetooth transfer
    -Windows Phone 8 startscreen


    ISSUES/SOLUTIONS

    Picturetile: if you make it small you can't make it full big again
    xbox and music and video don't change accent (make tap the little icon a few times (everytime))
    Marketplace icon sometimes has windows logo, sometimes not
    if you pin a site and make it really small its grey, and you can only pin one thing to start
